You can negotiate on that quality too! :D I'm sure Ricoh/Pentax will offer many alternatives and solutions for upgrading the lens at the right (for them) cost!

Maybe the time for some Pentaxians to negotiate about a new FA 250-600/5.6 is near! :D

Do we need fast lens to produce nice bokeh ?

Smooth and pleasing bokeh can be produced even with cheap and slow lenses, no doubt about that, but when you try a DFA* 50/1.4 or a DFA* 85/1.4 you will understand why so much fuss about such lenses. It is not something that can be described by words it is the IQ and the rendering that hits your eyes. Some older designs with character convey the same pleasure when viewing an image (stardust, subject popping out effect etc etc). But these lenses are also well known and still quite pricey to buy.

Thank you for your kind words my friend! I should probably make a DA 560 album on Flickr with various nature photos where the lens qualities will be more evident. My latest Instagram photo of a common buzzard also shows the characteristic DA 560 rendering in the background trees and flora.

Who has a K-1 and a K3 iii? Opinions / use case / advocacy!

Your case is identical to mine (K-1 user since 2016, I had a K-5IIs I loved that I sold and bought a second K-1) and I decided to buy the K-3iii as an action camera for my aviation and nature photography which is a superb 1.5X TC paired to my long lenses. My experience so far answering your questions.

1) When I need a fast camera the K-3iii is my choice. I was kind of worried about the IQ of an APS-C especially since I was spoiled by the excellent IQ of the K-1, but the K-3iii offers great IQ too. The K-1 remains top but you definitely won't regret using the K-3iii or not taking the K-1. To answer your question ~67% (2 of 3 times) I use the K-3iii. The K-1 remains excellent but the K-3iii is more fun to use as a more complete camera.

2) I usually take both with me. If I want to have a small kit with me I take only the K-1 or the K-3iii with the FA 43 (and sometimes the other 31 and 77 limiteds too). I use a bag that anyone should have in my opinion, no matter how many different bags you have. It's that good and comes in a low price: Case Logic SLR Camera/Laptop Backpack - Case Logic
3) No regrets. The K-3iii is the best DSLR camera Pentax ever released to me... until probably the K-1iii.

Great news! Enjoy your lens again! Can you tell me how much did it cost to repair it and how long did it take? I'm planning of sending mine for an overhaul but these 2 factors kind of worry me.

Will we ever get a 400mm f2.8 lens for sports photographers?

Your opinion is sensible but I doubt that Pentax won't offer an alternative to the DA 560 that withdraw from the lensmap. Pentax recent policy is not only about amateurs and that is evident from the latest lens releases both in terms of quality and pricing. The DFA 21/2.4 Ltd is 1500 here in Europe. So I believe it is oriented mostly to advanced photographers, enthusiasts and pros that will take advantage of such a lens and most probably gain some profits. Concerning the long tele primes we discuss here, I believe that Pentax will fill the gap in her arsenal by releasing something like a DFA*400/4 or 500/5.6 that will work fine with both 1.4X and 2X new DFA* TCs. In any case even for attracting new customers and not loosing the existing pentaxians Ricoh/Pentax has to offer a lens that reaches 600mm that is common in every other system. I can't see why a nature photographer that is really interested in the K-3iii will go with Pentax if the only option is a zoom lens that goes up to 450mm when he/she can get offerings from Casonikon at the same price range of equally excellent 150-600 or 200-600 lenses.

New Patent for Pentax APS-C 18-100 F2.8

I don't believe such a lens is possible. There is a reason why f2.8 zoom lenses are mostly 3X from wide to long end. Making a 6X f2.8 lens with great IQ doesn't seem feasible to me, although a 18-100/2.8 lens would be something that would make a lot of noise about Pentax if ever released.

less competition for Pentax?

Surely the others have focused on MILCs. The real challenge for Pentax now is to make DSLRs that have so many attractive features as to win photographers from Canonikon that still prefer an OVF and keep the DSLRs close to the MILCs in terms of performance... Since the sensors are the same (so top level IQ won't be a problem) a superb OVF and a very capable AF system with a fast FPS and deep buffer are essential features for the next Pentax cameras to remain relevant and competitive.

I find viewfinder of K-3III is quite hard to use

So your problem is with the AF points not showing clearly in the viewfinder. With all due respect, the title of this thread "I find viewfinder of K-3III is quite hard to use" is misleading and couldn't be any more wrong than that. The K-3iii viewfinder is the best one I've seen in a DSLR and it is even better than the one in FF K-1. Just pointing that out because there might be Pentaxians interested in the camera that could be confused...
Concerning the AF points illumination I've also find it difficult to track which one is in use when AF-C and more than one are selected, but I came to the conclusion that this happens because the K-3iii is very fast focusing in comparison with previous Pentax cameras and it has smaller AF points. Then I realized that the AF was nailing focus in most cases and stopped worrying about not seeing the AF points as the images were spot on! All you have to do is select the correct AF mode to your kind of photography and let the camera do the job. The superb clarity and high definition of the VF also makes it easy to understand whether the focus is on your subject.

Pentax camera design better than others ?

Great example you gave Kristian! The D7000 was my first DSLR and after having it more than 18 months I was still having problems to find into the menus various settings :( After acquiring my K-5 I was really impressed on how much better the camera felt in every way from holding it to shooting with it. In fact it was the camera that made photography a joy again for me as the D7000 was a good camera (in papers) but so much troublesome to use. What impressed me even more was that despite the 2 cameras having the same Sony sensor, the K-5 was producing clearly better results as the Pentax engineers had made their miracles! So switching to Pentax was the best thing to do and an easy decision after actually owing and comparing 2 products belonging to the same category and aiming at the same buyers. :)
