Studio Flash Calculator?

Just trying to understand. Why did you make a composite of the first shot?
As far as I understand you could have shot the whole thing at f3.5 exposing for the can, then increase the flash power for the background and compensate for the 1.8 to 3.5 ratio.

I dont you will be able to do anything with the V5. Your only option will be to trigger the Pentax and Yongnuo in slave mode.

Some of this new af tech should have been given to their current APS-C flagship the A6500. like they are doing for the A7III.

Was this APS-C body anticipated? I thought it was going to be called A7000 with an A9 body?
He did say though that this was a mid-range camera.

I guess Tony and Chelsea have seen this thread after the DPReview debacle and decided not to mention anything about Pentax for their 2019 prediction video. :D :D

All of this drama. If Ricoh was to put as much drama in their advertising maybe wont be here fighting each other about us getting screwed.

That particular lens in the video is only for Sony FE mount cameras. The K-Mount versions are old.

I have the a6500. It really is a good camera. So far I have it paired it with the 85 f1.8. The combo is very good.
I have been thinking if I should get the Sigma 56 f1.4, The reviews seem to be really good. The sharpness is amazing.
I have only two problems. I am not sure if I need that focal length. Two, I am not sure if I want to get aps-c lens.

If the two interest you, you should buy it and test it.

Anyone Using "Flash Brackets" any more?

I made one by myself. But I found out that it was too clunky to use at events.
I also stopped using it. I try as much as possible not shoot in portrait mode.
That is when you see shadows on the walls. If I do, then I rotate the flash head upwards to bounce.

Lens cost + adapter will probably be more than native lens from tamron.
Besides you loose some functions with adapter ie speed.

But research is part of the fun or headache depending on how deep you dig. Oh how many youtube videos I have watched this year.

I am glad its over.

Yes it was scary to see that. That is what "we" the photograhers use for as WOW factor.

Soon your f1.2 lens is useless. SCARY.

I say go for it. Just do your research well.
There is no use worrying about if I had that D600.
Yes buying into a new system is costly. There is no way around that. Now you have more experience than when you started, So limit your lens to one specific one. You know which lens you need and which you dont.
The problem is that if you are going for a shoot and you dont have confidence in what you might get due to a particular feature you are already loosing the battle.

Keep something though to remind you of Pentax. :)

Full frame Mirrorless cameras...are they going to dominate ? Who will buy?

For it to stall there has to be real valid foreseeable reasons that prevents it from going forward. Mainly technical.
At this moment it doesnt seem like so. EVFs are becoming apparently more sharper because pixel density.
At the this moment I think the advantages and disadvantages are even.

Then again we have people who are still bent on shooting film. So DSLR will still be around for a long time. Who will take the lead, we are yet to find out in 10 years.

Didnt Pentax loose its market share because they refused to jump to digital.
Mirrorless is today's digital to DSLR.
