Software: manual controls in video mode, more customizable user mode (e.g. possibility to set the minimal exposure time) and tethering.

Hardware (for the next model): a BIGGER buffer, 15 images (2 sec) in raw is ridiculous!

I can think about a lot of other things, but those are the most important!

You seem to have missed my post saying "I used to have a FA* 24mm f2 but sold it because I wasn't happy with it's performance (corners)...".
Oh wait, you didn't because you even quoted it... but then why are you posting this?

Mine was quite similar to the one tested by photozone. The corners are disappointing for a * prime, and even more if you look at it's current price.

Oh I'm very aware of that... and might buy the new Nikkor 35mm f1.4 and the D700 successor if Pentax don't announce a DA* 20mm or 24mm f1.4 (or f2) or a full-frame camera (would LOVE to use the FA 31mm Limited with it!) by the time it's out.

A DA* 20mm or 24mm f1.4 (or f2) is more than needed! It should also have 9 rounded blades and very fast af.

Thanks again for all the comments...

Longji rice terraces (Longsheng county, Guangxi province), about 2-3 hours from Guilin by bus.

There are 2 different places (with several view points at each place) to see the rice terraces: Ping’an and Jinkeng.
My photos were taken at Jinkeng, it's less famous and harder to access than Ping'an, but it's also less crowded and according to some more beautiful; if you have time the best is to see both places (you can travel between them with the local bus or by making a 4-5 hours trek).

The best time to go there is Spring, when the green rice terraces are filled with water (I was there in Summer).

Oh, and the last 4 pictures of the slideshow weren't taken in China but in my country of origin, Macedonia (I'll make 2 separate slideshows later). The one with the sheeps was taken near the Kokino megalithic observatory.

Thank you all for the comments!

Guilin is beautiful (I spent 2 days there and no, I didn't get robbed :) ) but if you go a bit further on the Li River you arrive in Yangshuo, and it (and the area around it) is even more beautiful (I planned to spend 2 days there but finally remained 6!)...
Not too far from Guilin (2-3 hours by bus) are also the famous Longji rice terraces, definitely worth the visit and if you can, you should spend one or two nights in the small and remote (especially if you go to Jinkeng and not Ping'an) villages next to the rice terraces.

Yes, I have more shots of the cave... might upload some later.

LCD's for photography

By far the best bang for the bucks if you are looking for quality... it has an excellent IPS panel and is really great for photography. But as with any other wide-gamut monitor, it should be calibrated because if it isn't, the colors will look too flashy (a monitor used for photography should be calibrated anyway).

I have it and can only confirm what the review says, and here's another one: PRAD | Review HP LP2475w
