I'm still hoping Eric can find a replacement spring for my black K which he has had for quite some time now. It wasn't a cheap buy, and I wanted it to use. :(

I'd like to see some too!

Has anyone ever come across the wooden tripod that was supplied with early super-telephoto lenses?

Tri-X in the US

I was in Hawaii in 2013 but this trip is just to spend Christmas in New York with my in-laws. A week upstate and a week in the city. I'm planning to continue my series of "Now Christmas is over" images of abandoned Christmas trees using my FED2 and my Lubitel 2 both loaded with Tri-X, although I rather like Rollei Retro too, so I may get some of that as well.

Thanks all. Kris.

Any recommendations of where to mail-order some Tri-X (both 135 and 120) in the US? I'd like to mail-order some before we fly over for the holidays.

Thanks, Kris.

Not Pentax related I know, but I need some advice.

We have a Yashica A TLR which we would like to have a CLA. Is there a Yashica-equivalent of Eric in the US? For various reasons we would like to get this done state-side if possible.

Thanks, Kris.

I have a box full of LX data backs and bits I have been meaning to sell. Is the memo insert the same for the MX and LX versions?

To save on postage I save films up until I have a few to send. I often can not remember what camera they were in, and certainly not what lenses were used. There are odd exceptions, such as one recent roll where I deliberately shot the whole thing using my SMC Takumar 85mm lens. I ought to keep notes, and I have tried in the past, but usually only manage for about half a roll before good intentions fall by the wayside.

It was Adox CHS 50 Art. The one and only roll of it I have ever shot. I loaded it when it was bright and sunny and thought I'd try a slow medium format film, then never used it. Normally I use Tri-X for medium format BW.

Derbyshire (Nettar 4) par Kris Lockyear, on ipernity

Zeiss Ikon Nettar.

I forgot what film was in the camera and guessed it was Tri-X. I was wrong. It was a ISO 50 film! I got the lab to push it by two stops and it seems to have worked out OK.

Love those, especially 018 with the mixture of curves and straight lines. Great stuff.
