out shooting with a bunch of like minded astro photographers at Island Point Reserve, Dawesville, Western Australia. Am still very much a novice when it comes to astro but was very happy with this 360 Panorama. Exp 25sec, F2.8, ISO 6400, Pentax K1 with Samyang 12mm 2.8. image size 14,680 x 7340 px. 2 rows of 6 exposures stitched in PTGUI. The interactive pano can be viewed here. This is a 360 deg Panorama taken at sunset in the old South Fremantle Power Station. The interactive 360 can be found here although it is only 1/2 the full resolution of 72mpx.
South Fremantle Power Station | Virtual tour created by Balm Commercial Photography

This was created with 4 x 3 hdr frames handheld and stitched in PTGUI. I left the ghostly image of my son in rather than mask him out as it kind of suited the atmosphere.

We added the Ricoh Theta S as the camera to make it play nice in Facebook.

I just love this lens for its sharpness. Use it all the time for architectural work. Have also used it for astro with great results enough thought it is not very fast.

I love doing 360 deg panoramas and have found that raising the camera 3-4 meters gives a whole new perspective than a ground level shot. I have built a 4m extension pole (from a pool cleaning pole) that works a treat. See link https://plus.google.com/u/0/+LesMoyle/photos/photo/6213629240071843186? for my test results. Would love to win this lens to replace one that was stolen from my vehicle while we were traveling through Spain last year.

I normally have the gear on me but had stopped for fuel. I went for a leak and my wife went for a coffee. 3 minutes and window was broken and gear gone. Apparently no one saw a thing which I am not so sure about but there you go.

I wonder how good Lenstag is as all the gear was registered with them?

Yeah. It appears that eastern Europeans are giving southwest Spain some real grief with stealing etc. It took them less than 3 minutes to break into the car and grab all my gear. I guess a fight with my travel insurer is coming up when I get home. What really annoys me is the 2000 odd images that have gone on the laptop and backup drives. including the originals of my other posts.

We were on a day cruise up the Douro River and when we arrived at Barca DÁlva the wind had drop and this was the view from the wharf. This is my second K3 as original camera and all my lenses were stolen whilst in Spain during this trip. Boy is it difficult to find Pentax here in Portugal let alone lenses as the 18-135 was my only choice.
Never mind complaining about low lifes I knew this was a nice image the moment I pressed this shutter.
