I couldn't agree more, and so should wholesale clearing of land for farming. When we were in Tassie it was heartbreaking to see huge swathes of bare earth and burning piles of waste timber where a forest had once been.

I'll say no more in case I get pinged for getting political :)

Thanks Jer! :) If the folks in Tassie can figure out how to stop Sugar gliders from eating them when nesting, they should be secure, but that is a really hard task. :(

Thank you! I have added a couple more photos below. :)

I've created this with my equatorial mount (Meade LXD75 that I upgraded/repaired with stepper motors). I took 90odd 30 second exposures at ISO2000 and then stacked these in AstroPixelProcessor; the stacking creates a relatively noise-free image that can then be processed to show more detail. The astrophotography group has much more information on this addictive form of photography. There's a member of there, MossyRocks, who uses astrotracer with a 400mm lens to create an amazing image of M31, the Andromeda galaxy, so you can do astro with that as well. I personally use that only for shorter focal lenghts, like 50mm. Give it a try with a fast fifty (I've used my M50/1.4 to create the image below (apologies for this image being taken at only 50mm)) and you'll be pleasantly surprised what can be done with minimal equipment (K-50, M50/1.4, tripod and astrotracer).

We saw silvereyes out on Heron Island, but the birds there are now regarded as a different species from the mainland population. Vario-Elmar 100~400mm @ 400mm.

All COVID vaccines currently being used are not on the FDA's approved list. They are experimental vaccines under a preliminary "emergency use authorization"

What I am really concerned about is using an experimental drug and having side effects. I'm not so sure my insurance company covers health conditions caused by experimental/unapproved vaccines. I'd rather take my chances than trust the rush around this virus.

The last thing I want to be is a guinea pig.

I'll be at the end of the longest line waiting for the vaccination.

This one is an aussie bronze jumper. It liked to a do a sideways jig every time I approached it with the camera, not easy to capture. Went for the B&W.
