I can't agree more. I've recently started using a good old Tamron SP 17mm and it delivers a reasonable quality when I'm shooting interior and people (low and wide). This lens is very sufficient until my budget allows purchasing a new wide-angle lens.

Thank you again Class A for sharing your additional thoughts. I've just watched a video showcasing how Godox AD200 is used in practice, and I like the versatility of this product and the power .. and I can live without the zooming component. I found it on for $487AUD incl. the XPro-P trigger for Pentax. I think it's a pretty good deal, and still within my budget. :)

I also found out that the software for AD200 was updated last year, so it now works as TTL. I feel that this kit should get me going for events photography for now. Thank you again for your additional comments. I appreciate your time.

Thank you inkista for your thoughts. I've looked into this option, and I really would like to have the TTL option when shooting events in particular. Other than that I'm happy to use the flashgun in "M" mode. I know keen to go ahead with Godox AD200 .. as it seems to be ticking all boxes for me apart from the zoom.

Thank you for your additional thoughts Clackers re the porch light. I had another go and I think I'm heading in the right direction.

I do studio photography and know about the importance of the catchlight! But I didn't think about it when I was using the porch light. Thanks for the reminder! :-)

Thanks Randy. I reckon the hair light requires either an external flash or a strobe. I'll have a go at this another time.

I've just checked my LR and the color profile is set to AdobeRGB (1998). I used to have it set to sRGB but a local printing company told me that I need to change color profile to AdobeRGB for print. Is this correct? Obviously, I forgot to change it back.

I did and it didn't work. :-( Don't worry, I hope it'll work next time. I made the effort following the suggested ideas and that's the most important in this instance. Thank you again for your cc. :-)

I was keen to practice shooting a self-portrait at our outdoor veranda. I had no clue how much you need to think about when your are standing behind/in-front of the camera at the same time. I took around 40 pictures and this one is my preferred shot. However,I can still see some space for improvement e.g. a bit distracting background. Any other comments? Thank you.

I don't watch any YouTube channels regularly. But I'm subscribed to a few including Adorama TV. There is one podcast which I really like "The Art of Photography" (also YouTube channel) by Ted Forbes. His episodes are very diverse and covering a 360-degree look into the world of photography.

You made my day Class A as I already have SCA 3702. I have to use this Adapter with my analog Metz flash unit (45 CT-4). I'll find the thread which you mentioned by Kerrowdown.

Thank you also for the additional contact awaldram. My current SCA Adapter works and the coilt cable is a little bit loose.
