Stunning yellow detail, especially in the center.
And then against the "spinning blurred fan blades" behind.
Great shot.

The insect stands out sharply, and also the purple flower.
But I am intrigued by the plant, having never seen one of these.

Very "pristine" shot of that bird!
You must get a lot of good use from that bath; I think I've seen it before, with a similarly excellent shot of a couple of birds. :)

I see that 912 in your shot, and start remembering old 1968 goals that were never realized!
Enjoy your Porsche! :)

The daisies you shoot are always interesting.

Ditto exactly what Mike said.
Nice flower image.
And slight discrepancies that you mention. I decided to not worry about those; just focus on the image--and I think you got a good one, really bringing out the detail of the stamens.

Good flower image. I like all the details of that flower.
I understand the frustration you express with cleaning up the bright spots.
I have found Affinity Photo to be a help with those, and it was within my price range of US $50 one-time fee.
But it sure has a steep learning curve!

That passage came from the song, "Both Sides Now", as sung by Judy Collins way back in 1968 (or when was it?).
I messed up a couple of the lyrics to fit the image. It was a good image.

I'm glad you brought up that point to consider. I was so busy grabbing the shot that I didn't think about waiting for a few more minutes to see what happened as the sun moved!
Thanks.

Now THAT is something I hadn't thought of doing! :D
"Hey! Mr. Sun! I want..."
Thanks for the suggestion -- "Thinkin' outa tha box!"
Actually, I liked the sunlight, as you said, but wished I had gotten to it a few minutes earlier. I should also have waited after this batch of shots to see where the light progressed.
Thanks for your input!

Several of you have said similarly, that the sun helped!
Thanks for finishing it out.

To each of you, "Thanks!"
My wish was / is that I could have controlled the lighting a bit more in order to bring up the luminance of the lower flower. But from what I'm getting from you folks, it has its strong points as is.
Your inputs, each of you, is appreciated.

Becomes a cat fight every time I try to even pass by the chair.
Identical markings, identical vicious eyes, identical long tail.
Do you have bloody marks on your hands identical to mine?
Enjoy all the picture opportunities he gives you! You certainly won't get to enjoy the chair again! :D
