Danh, I have the 7" lilliput monitor on my K5 and it works fine. With the supplied mount it fits tight and is strong. Really works good for Macro shots.

Regards

I am still getting the hang of it but so far it has been just great. Super picture and the mount works awesome. It makes "Live view" come alive. I have not used it with videos yet. I used it to "fine tune" some macro shots. Works like a dream. Well worth the $200.00 odd dollars I paid for it. Although, if you talk to my wife, it appears that she doesn't share the same opinion........;)

I note that in the manual they refer to the camera heating up if you use LV. there is even a temperature warning that will show. I am just wondering if you use a monitor for LV does the camera still heat up? I am not sure what causes the heat build up maybe all the info etc. that is captured on the camera display. or it could be just the inner workings of the camera with the mirror up. If the latter is indeed the case, then utilizing an external monitor probably won't make a difference. Any thoughts on the subject?

I just ordered a Lilliput 7" 668GL-70NPC/HY HDMI monitor with extra battery, HDMI cables, hot shoe stand, sun shade and charger for under $200.00. It is full HD 1080 x 1920. 450 cd/m2 brightness and 500:1 contrast. Should be here in about two weeks. Looking forward to using it for macro shots and video on my K5 as well as my camcorder. Will probably need all your help to get the hang of it.......:)
