I am interested in how you would use the camera strap with the 70-200 lens since I don't want to attach the strap to the camera when using this lens.

I've tried the settings in the E-Dial programming but I can't get the green button to not change both of the aperture and shutter speed when pressed.
What I want it to do is in Manual let me set the aperture then push the green button and the camera selects the shutter speed and the aperture remains at the setting that I want and not changed by pressing the green button.

I go to E-Dial Customization select the option that I want to use with the green button with the O.K. button go back to M setting on the camera set the f stop and push the green button for the camera to select the auto setting for the shutter speed but the green button changes both of the settings not just the shutter speed. I'm not sure what I doing wrong I had no trouble with my K3.

O.K. I've given up, I have tried everything but still no results. I want to use the green button in manual mode to adjust the shutter speed while the aperture remains constant. What happens now is that when I press the green button in manual the shutter and aperture will both change. I read the manual but I'am still not getting it correct. Any help would be appreciated.

I just received my new K1ii and FA* 70-200 and I can't wait to go out and do some breathing.

Thanks for all of your comments. I was thinking of purchasing this lens since I really don't have a quality 70-200 lens. You are correct the Cameraville video did cause me to post this question. I do have a macro and focus rail for focus stacking but I would use this lens for landscaping when possible.

stevebrot, thanks for your comments and google question. I checked and Luminar 4 does not support focus stacking so I am going to pass and go with something like Helicon.

Is focus stacking software like Helicon necessary when one can use something like Luminar 4?

I have a 8 yr old MacBook Pro and would like to focus stack with my K3. Which would you recommend Affinity, Zerene or Helicon Focus for my use? I also use Lightroom for processing.

Interesting but I'm still not sure how it works. What happens if one or two of the walkers would stop during a lift would it fall?
