I'm a late adopter, got the K-30 when the K-50 came out, got the K-3 4 years after it was released, just got a KP this year (4 years after release). So I expect I'll get a K-3 III in four or five years! For how I get cameras, it's like I can see the future of what cameras will be available in five years :lol: plenty of time to think through my options

Hey Scott, I used it on my K-3. My original intent was to use it with a DA* 300, and I found 450mm was enough reach for me and difficult to master on it's own so the teleconvertor didn't add much value for me. But I expect that is different on the K-1 where the extra magnification would be very handy! Some posts I was reading say there might be a bit of vignetting, others seem to say it's fine. Sorry I can't provide any personal experience with it!

Purchased new with the plan to use it as part of a DA*300mm setup, but then ended up with the DFA 150-450 instead. I've used it a few times with the 150-450 but found it wasn't really worth it for me. So hoping to pass it on to someone else!
Comes with a small protective 'lens coat' from outdoor photography gear, it's meant for a Sony tele-convertor but it fits well enough.

The King of the Kit Lenses!
Excellent knock-about lens, with great build quality with a metal lens mount, weather sealing, no retraction. A little soft wide open but good stopped down. Good for walk-around or as a backup weather sealed lens.
I got this lens new with my K-30, used it for quite a while until I needed a faster aperture lens for some indoor photography jobs. It's been well cared for, minor signs of use, and comes with a B+W 010 MRC (multi-coated) filter for protection and ease of cleaning - the filter's stayed on the lens for most of it's life.

I mean it's really really subtle. I wouldn't notice it under normal photographic conditions, I've only noticed it because I've been using it adapted to a GH3 for video and I'm using manual focus a lot more with more precision, and there's a very slight choppiness. But I don't think it's anything to worry about, for me after the initial resistance is overcome it moves smoothly.
