Yes, simple technical description:
I shoot using 4 cameras, prefocused, on tripods, activatef simultaneously remotely. What one camera misses the other whould get.

Pre-focused multi-camera setup (as many as 5). Cameras are on tripods and operated remotely from hidden position. I study the trajectory of birds to and from the feeder (varies per bird) and pre focus a predicted area of flight.
The technique is more "hunting"/ preparation, patience, and the willingness to have a 1% to keeper rate.
This type of manual focusing is nearly the same as single af, but more efficient. Once I "mechanized" the capture process and took the camera out of my hand, new possibilities were revealed - these captures are from above the bird.
One camera will work, but not proficiently. The birds are less likely to traverse that camera's area of focus by evading the camera's position. I set a second camera to counter the bird's initial evasion, and so on until the bird can no longer escape the "focus traps." What one camera misses, the other should get.

Thanks, its a collaborative rendition between the Gh5 (I own two for this reason, I purchased them primarily for STILLS)) and the Oly glass. However, undoubtedly the lens is doing the heavy lifting.
