There was no plan of a new camera FOR this fall, and the 100th anniversary, but they had previously announced a new flagship APS-C for Spring of 2020. The news here is not that it is coming, but that this is what it may look like.

The Pentax 70-200mm f/2.8 costs about the same as the Canon or Nikon 70-200mm f/4. That is why Pentax does not have one. The need does not exists.

For Cankon, the f/4 is only a less expensive alternative to the f/2.8. The Pentax f/2.8 qualifies as the “less expensive alternative.”

I remember. I have been absent for awhile and just came back. Saw this thread at the top and thought it was something new. Looked at the first page and thought, “I remember this thread, and I didn't think it was satire back then.”

Got my K-3 now, and waiting for the next APS-C flagship. In the meantime, don't mind getting to 60,000 posts for the K-1 II. Willing and ready to go full frame, but happy to stay APS-C. Also willing to pay US$500 to upgrade my K-3 to the K-3 III with accelerator chip, Dynamic PixelShift, etc. ;-)

I have been trying to capture the perfect bouganvilla shot, not ever satisfied.

I thought, at first, this is a little underexposed, but I love it! Never thought of such a low key shot for mine.
