I voted for #11. Love the Renaissance look but it was a difficult choice between 11 and 8. A beautiful young lady with even more beautiful eyes.

I realize this is a older thread but I've been using a Metz 58AF-1 as a Metz 58AF-2 with V6 triggers successfully for some time now. The displayed output level on the Metz does not change but the actual flash output does. So as far as I'm concerned the complaints off Obin Robinson are at best foolish.

Thanks for that info. I did get the 8139 number as I was viewing the image in camera. But my next question is, what folder are you Talking about?

I recently bought a Pentax K1 and the seller listed it as having a shutter count of about 3400, I forgot the exact number. However I was playing around with the camera today and I noticed the shutter count is 8139. This made me a little curious so I checked the shutter count using that app on PF and it registered as 1449.
Does anybody know what the shutter count could be?

I love #2. Making forks animated or into alien life form caught my eye and is very amusing. The very graphic look of #14 is great. Also #1, simple and I like the contrast.

There are several videos on YouTube where they are scanning with a DSLR. I plan to be doing that soon with my K3.

I'm fairly sure this video on YOU Tube is a spoof and was posted by World of Cameras & Lenses but I haven't seen any rumors posted here. There wasn't any photos of it but they said it would be featured at CES16. Anyway the specs they posted are as follows:
3 crop modes: 24x16 (24.2 mp) 17x13 (16.2 mp) and 13x8 (10.2 mp)
Auto focus points = 90 cross type 36
10 frames per sec at full crop
11 per sec at 17x13 crop
4k video - 3860x2160 (24p, 25p, 30p) 8 or 10 bit
Full HD - 1920x1080 (24p,25p,30p50p,60p) 8 or 10 bit
Iso - 50 - 104800
Price range $2000 - 2100
Sounds to good to be true to me.

Richo has a list of authorized dealers on their site and it's a downloadable pdf, so if I do buy something from Amazon I check that list first. I have been very fortunate not to have any major problems with any of my new gear, also used, generally I will buy from KEH, but I have also bought on PF, but I always avoid gray market stuff. Adorama also sells gray market but they have good warranty service or so I've heard.

I recently bought a Pentax F 50 mm f/2.8 Macro, I got it from B&H for about $230.00. There are several reviews on Pentax Forums about this lens and they are all rated as a 10 and I couldn't agree more. Center to corners are incredibly sharp. Since this focal length seems to be in the range you like to use try to find one. Also, KEH.com is another valuable source for used lenses and their rating is very conservative.

You don't need a Cactus V5 . Take The V6 off the camera, turn off the group(s) you don't want to measure then press the test button( located in the front) to get the reading from your main flash. Do this for each flash to set your ratios. Finally, reactivate all the groups for your final reading. I've done it this way many times. Remount the V6 on the camera and you should be set to go.

I use the Metz AF-1 and you have to check the Cactus manual(section 10.2, page 28) and it will give the instructions to develop a custom profile for Pentax. It's a bit time consuming but fairly easy to do. Unless you have micro-scoptic vision it would be best to download the user manual at HOME | CACTUS.
Cheers

Sorry to correct you but lens correction will work in DNG with the lenses you mentioned, at least it does on my K-5 IIs.

I have the Metz 58 AF1 and the V6 will support it through it's learning option. I have found some variations in the output of the flash test firing it manually and then mounting on a V6. Most settings are the same but some are lower some are higher. This is a crude test but I'm not a rocket scientist. I will post my results soon.

What I did was e-mail GI prior to the official release of the V6 to see if it could be pre-ordered. Altough they wouldn't allow that they did reply via e-mail when it was available. Try it, it worked for me.

A lot of stores carry filter wrenches. They are generally sold in pairs for a few dollars. I recently had a stuck filter on my Tamron 90mm macro an luckily I happen to have one. Works really good.
