It's much easier when not full. Low lighting angle has crater walls lit against their shadows.. High in the sky better with less atmosphere to disturb the view
The Q seems to be quite good on a telescope

Great shot Richard! I like the light background.

I got that program and a couple of others that people seem to use.
I'm a sod for just starting to use things like that while ignoring instructions and tutorials...Usually give up the second time it doesn't work. Did that with a short Jupiter movie...Even a paused video the image looks better than that shot so presumably worth doing

That's a bit rude

I was responding to Mark who said

"There is, of course, no proof that the deaths are directly related to the vaccine."

This is New Zealand where the roll out was quite late in the piece

it is cool eh. Jup has looked amazing to the mk 1 eyeball the last couple of nights, parked next to the moon on saterday.
That is a single shot. Next trick is to make movies then software strips out the individual frames, selects the in focus ones, aligns them, stacks them thus getting much better contrast and detail I hope

It's just a 6 in Newtonian reflector on the Dobson mount.
That's 1200mm f/8. Not sure what the Q-7 crop factor is
No tracking needed at 1/125 sec

Single shot. Seems to be massively downsized, will attempt to replace it with a few more pixles

I've got shocking floaters so single eye view pretty sad.
I found that binoculars magically clean them up. Most binoview converts don't go back to the single eye ( for sun, moon and planets)

that Pluto trigger looks like fun

Oh ah a telescope!
That one will work nicely with binoviewers! I've got a pair incoming on slow boat shortly for my 6 in Dob
Also got one of these coming...Wow the technology !

I put the 21 on the K-01 last night seems excellent af at f4 or even wide open
Always did on the K5sii too.
Sounds like the lens in question needed to go in for service
If it's a firmware glitch then the next update might sort it :-D

That's horrific, it's like your country is eating itself.
We have a government run no fault accident compensation commission.
I can't remember the last time I saw a lawyers ad and never on TV
