I vote for #6 I like the abstract feel to it. As usual, all are exceptional images.

Hi
As an old SLR user I normally use the viewfinder. However, I wanted to take some photos of my aquarium and realized that using the viewscreen on the back would be much more convenient. When I went to use it it wants to show the actual scene only when I press the shutter to focus, not before. My question is can you set up the camera to continuous viewscreen display, and If so how as I couldn't find anything in the manual.

A few pics of my Corydoras catfish, testing out my new FA 100 2.8 macro. Another great lens from Pentax. |

I think I'm in love. For the types of photography I do I love the TAv setting. I get to set both the shutter speed and the aperture and the camera adjusts by changing the ASA. I took some pictures at a local outdoor concert and was able to shoot at F5.6 at 1/500 with the band in the shade. The FA 60-250 F4.0 is seriously sharp. Here's a couple of examples.

Quick question. I was looking through my old accessories and found a 50mm lens hood that fit my F 50mm F 1.7. fine. I also found a lens hood for a 100 f4 macro. Just for fun, I put it on. I did not see any vignetting on my KP. I took a photo and opened in Photoshop and could not see any vignetting. Even with the conversion factor, the hood should be too large for the lens. Am I missing something, or was the macro hood purposely shorter than a non-macro hood for a 100mm lens? I will do some further tests, but it would be nice if it works. Any ideas or feedback?

No it's the FA 28-70 f4. One of the power zooms that came out around the same time as the PZ-1. Specs are on the lens review page.

#7,#10, and #14 also grabbed me, though all of the images are outstanding.

HI
I'm leaning towards the KP, so far everybody says it's the better camera.

Hi all
I'm a long time Pentax user, bought a used Spotmatic in 1970, have been shooting Pentax since. I currently am shooting an istD but am planning to update soon. I'm thinking KP. Is there any reason to go with the less expensive K 70? Also, I have a couple of DA lenses. I have a chance to buy a couple of Pentax zooms with full 35mm coverage. Is there any disadvantage besides weight in doing this. I look forward to talking Pentax with fellow enthusiasts.
