Box and original contents included, excepting lens pouch, I will include a 39-58mm stop-down ring for filter use.

For Canadian residents, would prefer Interac transfer. Local pickup is also welcome.

Hi there, it was OK, I adapted my 15mm for a while; I personally sold my 15mm and got the Fuji 14mm, which is a very good (but more expensive) lens that beats the 15mm, excepting starbursts.

I had an adapter without aperture control. I ended up cutting the head off a zip-tie, and putting this over the top of the aperture control lever in the 15mm lens, eyeballing it to about F5.6, then putting the lens on the adapter. Worked pretty well for a fixed aperture solution. For the focus, as JonMac says, you have a distance scale, and can hyperfocal it (or use magnified focus view to accurately focus.

Well, they say size isn't everything.....;) I had my Panny gear with me, and that currently tops out at 200mm FOV.

Yep.

That would also seem logical to me. Per Mark, if this was a "habit", and the "sorted" digital albums were available to the prosecution (clearly they were), then possession (evidence), rather than the picture-taking act would have been easier to go after.

To clarify my earlier post; unless you have the photographed person's explicit consent in Quebec, you can be done for what this person did - if the photographed person makes a complaint.

I'd agree; it's interesting here in Canada - Quebec has different laws that would have seen you prosecuted for this - the rest of Canada doesn't mind - a public place is exactly that.

I wasn't hiding to take this photo (tele), but would this have gotten me in similar trouble?

Anyone using an Intel NUC?

Haha to you both - I have an old set of bookshelf AIWA speakers - well from the past. I used to have full-size Wharfedale units - the joys of having a young family.

Thanks for the thoughts - I'm looking at the Kaby Lake i5 version of the NUC to be compact - I probably won't VESA mount it, but do want desk space.
Apparently the unit runs quiet, and is reasonably capable (I'm coming from a sandy bridge mobile chipset here). The only downside is that it isn't Quad-core.

I was also looking at an equivalent Zotac, and that does look really nice, but at least double the price. I've not had experience with them, but they do seem to run quiet.

Yes, with the K-5IIs and 60-250mm, I found when shooting birds in flight that a similar jumping occurred. Turned SR off, and all was well.
