Someone suggested the eneloop awhile back. I just got around to buying the 8 pk with charger. 6 days in camera and still fully charged. With the Duracell it would be gone just sitting over night I did notice that the camera would work for quite a long time after the battery indicator was red with the duracells.

The true test will be in Aug when I spend 9 says in Scotland and continous shooting. I am getting 8 more eneloops just in case.. There will be 2 of us so charging every night might be a problem.

I bought my Kx about 2 yrs ago. I bought simply because I was impressed with a gal 's whom I met at a Stargate convention. She is an ob-Gyn Doc. I figures she knew somethiing. Of course It is red Next Stargate con, she noticed and complimented me. We were the only 2 there. Between that con and Santurary con, she bought the 2.8 55-200 lens. Very nice she says. So I must keep up with Elaine, bought the 55-300 2.8. These cons get to be a little dark. Ok you can laugh now. My baby camera was well you get the picture Big lenes :plittle camera.. So I returned it and got a fantasic Tamron 28-300 3.5. Much more compact lenes This last Fall(went to Passion Play)at the Eagles nest In Germany I saw another Pentax user. Oriental of course. He remarks about my Pentax. Says it was a very wise choise. I'm all puffed up. Here is why.

On our tour there was a gal with a Nikon. So she was perceived to be the best photogrpher, so they said she should take the tour photos. Haven't seen her photos yet. But with my lowly Pentax ;)I got some really awesome pictures. hAhaha:p
Sorry so long:D

I would have told him I research Nikon and Canon and found that their iso was very muddy and Pentax iso was smooth as silk when doing portraits. Actually its true. That is whay I bought it. But the macro is muddy. But I have a really nice macro camera.

I bought my Pentax because I knew exactly what I wanted and Pentax had it. Besides I have a friend with a k7. I met a fellow at the Eagle's nest in germany with one.

Thanks guys. I have 16 Duracell. But not sure they are Duracell "loop" They just Don't last. They work fine in my flash but not in camera. I will investigate the enelooop and a Maha charger C9000 charge. Guess I can't get that at Walmart where I work. No 10% discount. Since almost all of you you suggested eneloop I will try some. I too am looking at the K5 but decided on a new lens for now. Maybe next year after I figure out the camera.

I have std 18-55 std Pentax red, Tokina 105 zoom manual than locks into macro awesome(need to figure out the macro $65) std 70 300 Pentax and tamrom 28-300 new awesome.
At least to me

I also own a Sony 15x h7 and a Fuji pocket. That have a great macro except I need to be too close the the bee or fly, but I have some beautiful pixs from it.

I love my Kx, but she eats batteries like a Kodak. Has anyone found a really good long lasting set yet with charger of course. Yea I have the filmware upgrade.

I can put in freshly charge and 1 shot ,they are yellow. I must admit, she keeps shooting when it is red. I bought an awesome new lens. Instant focus. I think swear i think the batteries are intimated, so they die faster.

I wonder if rhe kr battery would work and if it has a charger?

Suggestion. Please. Miss Red is eating me out of house and whatever.

Hi,

I was wondering if Pentax sells the very high Megapixal cameras ie 18, 19 21, 25 mp.

I know Canon does. I have a friend that just bought a Canon 25mp camera. No I don't want to blow it up lifesize. That's what I tell my customers when they have to have the high :rolleyes:mp cameras at the higher prices. Right now we do offer the Nikon 14.1 mp. But I love my Pentax and am curious.

I am new tote Kx-x. I found this setting, now of course I can't find it again. What exact is it's purpose. Also I have bad stimatism and like the viewfinder, but how can I use it on all setting. It does not seem to have an an on off setting.
