Yeah I can absolutely see that retrospectively. The blind shutters are vertical so that would be unavoidable unfortunately. I can try without them.

A walk in Rowallane gardens today in County Down, Northern Ireland. Their "Spring Path" Was respllendant with bluebells and Azalaeas and Rhododendrons and the walled garden was getting more awake after the winter.

C+C as ever is appreciated.

Was having a wee browse of the for sale and I noticed this lens on.

Thread is here.

Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 Di SP (IF) Macro AF Lens A001 - PentaxForums.com

The front element has a band designating the lens name and f number and focal length etc, but it's black with gold inlay, mine is the opposite, it's rose gold coloured with black inlay for the name etc.. Did they do two different version of this lens?

I absolutely love it. The tones are just sumptuous and the way the eye is led to the bridge is brilliant. Technically spot on and compositonal-wise I would agree about taking the shadow out at the bottom.

Abstract Cregagh Glen. C&C Welcome and appreciated.

Was a lovely sunny day in Belfast yesterday so I took a trip to the local forest glen that's about 5 mins from home. It's where the Connswater river starts high in the Castlereagh Hills and follows a gorgeouly mossy Glen to the Knockbreda Dual Carriagway. A little bit of the wild in in suburbia. It's an absolutely beautiful place. The kind of green zone that wouldn't look out of place in My Neighbour Totoro.

I'm happiest with 2 and 3 but I'm least happy with 5. The full midday sun was probably not the best idea to shoot under in hindsight so I'm planning on going back when the canopy has filled in a bit later in the spring and I'll try and get there at the morning golden hour.

Any C&C would be lovely.

Today I took a wander round botanic Gardens with my wife and daughter. Spring is on its way and I had my Tamron 70-200 2.8 with me. In hindsight when I go to botanic in future its coming with the camera on its own. The 24-70mm and the 50mm were utterly sueprflous.

Onto the photos.

I'd a couple to chew on this year.

The local park floods rightly. I had a "visions into the upside down" kind of idea. A reference to stranger things by shooting the reflections in the puddles.

I also wanted an alphabet challenge. A is for apple etc and it's apples at the local market.

I took an open University course. T189 if you want the course ID. I'd considered a degree path after retirement but when I did the maths for the cost of the degree I realised how I'd just rather buy glass haha. I'm self taught beyond that and obvs the fantastic advice I get from places like this.

Doesn't seem that there's a thread for this one. Checked the archives and I'm absolutely certain nobody has sample photos of this lens.

So here are two of mine.

I love the Bokeh in mine.
