You presume I processed them out of traditionalism.... but you're wrong. I think these shots work better in B&W, whereas other streetshots are better in colour.
However, I think there is often too much distraction in colour in streets, and therefore the light-play in B&W works much better most times! It's easier to accentuate parts, for instance.... But it might be a matter of taste, of course...

You can see in my flickr album "Digital Streetshots" that I really mix the use of B&W and colour... :p

One from one of the Single in Challenges I joined....
It is one photo, with a long shutter time, and several single lightings in a dark garden. The models are me, myself, and I.

Congrats to Keith, great dramatic photo!, and the others. Great challenge, I liked the theme and the judging, so thank you all.Thank you Hattifnat for the judging, I know it is not easy.

As always, I am completely satisfied with the second place, because you receive the fame without the burden of hosting next challenge...
But I am sure Keith will do well, up to the next one!

Quote from another forum: "Step 1 is to switch the AF/MF switch to AF (or from AF to MF to AF), depress the lens lock button and gently try to remove the lens (sometimes jiggling backwards and forwards and/or pulling the lens away from the camera body helps).

Repeat as necessary.

If the above doesn't work you need to try inserting a thin metal strip (feeler gauge or similar) between the camera and lens at about the 4:30 position and repeat step 1 with the thin metal strip in place.

Hope this helps."

This one was a bit of a challenge. St Oran's Chapel, Iona, Scotland. Very dark, only a bit ambient light from the two windows and the candles in the corner. Ilford FP4 Plus, so ISO125 film, which was way to low for this situation. My Yasica-D TLR, wide open (= F4.5), and about 1/3 sec shutter time. In the end it turned out quite well, in my opinion....
