It is a nice shot. The focus and light seem to distinguish the subject in different areas, and if that is what you and the subject were looking for, then you have achieved it. If you had wanted to fill the lower part of the subject with more light, you could have, and if you wanted to have the subject open her eyes more and make sure you filled that with light, you could have done that. As I said, if the look that you and your subject were looking for in the shot is what your final product is revealing, then you have achieved it. Of course you could plan on a different type of pose and lighting, but that is completely dependent on what you and the subject want to approach.

Comparison of flash triggers?

I use my Godox XPro-P transmitter to control my Godox AD600BM and Godox AD200 on any of my Pentax cameras. The transmitter enables TTL or Manual mode on both my AD600 and AD200. Grouping and control over power, along with other features, are available also using the transmitter.

I have 3 Pentax AF360FGZ flashes and a Yongnuo flash which I can add to the above mentioned lights if I utilize optical firing on them, but if I want to control them by themselves I utilize my Cactus V-5 transceivers.

I am resorting to the Godox lights and transmitter due to the capability of the Godox system lights to store power and provide it dependably for a reasonable length of time.

It is a good bag. It holds quite a bit, is well padded, and accommodates travel quite well. I found that the prices on ebay for a brand new one may vary from other dealer offers and Amazon. I bought my second one on ebay.

Good luck with your decision.

I have the AW400. Actually two of them. It is a nice bag, and not that heavy. You probably know about it already, since you have the 500. I can fit my Sigma 500 or Pentax 70-200 in it with a Pentax dslr on it also, plus some other things. I also carry my 16-85 in it sometimes, with a dslr on it, plus flashes, batteries, triggers, and other accessories. It also fits under the seat in front of me on most planes (good for most air travel). Some of the small commuter planes do not have the same amount of space under the seats.

There are several AF modes, such as Center (single point), Center Weighted (center and area immediately surrounding center), and Multi Segment (multiple expansive points further distanced from the center). There are ways you can do variations also.

You should be fine, just take one thing at a time. You will learn from your shooting, manual definitions, and other available information resources..

Happy shooting!

I just want to note that I have the Pentax K-1 II, and it performs at an excellent level per all aspects. I had the K-1, but had bought it so close to the K-1 II becoming available that the seller allowed me to return the K-1 and purchase the K-1 II. The detail in the K-1 II images is amazing, and the AF is excellent.

As has been said, after you are familiar with the operations basics (some shooting), you will be able to tell which settings you may like. I myself like to use TAV mode when I am on the go, such as taking shots of birds or other wildlife. As for stills such as portraits, or landscape shots, you may want to resort to Manual which will give you the opportunity to modify your ISO, Shutter Speed, and F stop (Aperture) to the environment you are shooting in. The actual use of the different ISO, Shutter Speed, and F stop (aperture) settings is something that you may want to view video tutorials about, in case you are not well versed in knowing what they pertain to, and how they apply to your shooting. You can take one thing at a time and and learn by experience what actually works for you.

Happy shooting, and I hope you enjoy your camera!
