Nice shots. But if that feeder is your own invention I would be taking out a patent now!

Hi Maurizio, another welcome from Australia. Not looking for the "best lens" but trying to become a better photographer is the way to go. There are many very good lenses but not so many very good photographers.

There is a certain architectural elegance to the spiraling veins. Kevin McLeod would wax lyrical but I suspect it would blow most budgets. Nice shot!

It certainly is a nice view. The difficult light gives it character. When I saw the title "Uriarra" I though "Why do I know that?" Now I know why it was familiar.

Maybe we just need to toughen up. The "Pentax Lenses and Accessories" brochure which included the "A" lenses describes the SMC Pentax Reflex 2000mm f13.5: "... it weighs a comparatively light 8 kilograms ..."

Just do more weights work and they will all seem compact and lightweight. (I don't mean you, Pål. I am sure you can still swing a double-edged battle axe.:lol:)

Yes, berry unlucky. :)

Don't leave it to the cactus though. You can de-seed lilly pilly berries, crush them with white wine and use as a marinade for pork fillet. Then cook the pork fillet with the marinade and use the liquid to make a sauce. It is a interesting flavour with a hint of cloves.

They certainly look like 30-06 cartridges. The 30-03 was loaded with a 200 grain round nose projectile which would look quite different. I believe that 5-round stripper clips were used for 30-06 cartridges in some situations.
