Mars is perhaps the easiest to focus to, 15secs on that orizon height is at the limit, and would suggest using Deep Sky Stacker.

1st step. Learn to use DeepSkyStacker. (what images you need to shoot)
2nd step. Learn how to navigate on the night sky (direction)
3rd step. Learn when to shoot the night sky. (day of month, time)
4th step. Learn where is the least lightpolution nearby. (place)
5th step. Grab few beers and let the k50 shoot 100-300 with interval.
PROFIT

I have YN506IV. Working like a charm. With fully charged eneloop pro black batteries it can shoot 1/1 with NO recycle time for around 50shots then it goes down to 2sec.
Just don't shoot more than 10 times 1/1 without letting it to cool down. It's a nice bulky sturdy flash and if not for pttl+hss it's better than my 360fgz. Has really big GN menus are simple. I mostly use it for action photography.

#14 #12 #3 are extremely well shot and technically nice but lack emotion or a theme, they seem to me like they were pulled out from shutterstock
#10 needed a more interesting sky although the lines are great.
#6 needs to be shot vertical with maybe 3 stacks 1 as it is + 2 horizontal of a nightsky to create negative space.

#8 is the winner for me although a slight better composition to allow the head of the first head post be seen in the water and the bottom right corner to be removed.

Why are UK Pentax prices so high in the UK?

Yep. My mouse. 6years abroad 3 years home.
My gpu. 2 years abroad 1 year home.
Almost half of the electronics we get warranty is lowered and price get higher.
Thing is price, warranty and extras that accompanies the product are dependable on the deal made. Same goes for cars and such. No cars come with full extras in Greece like ever.
EU is a big farse. And we are the leading Clown unfortunately. :)

Mirror stuck problem in new Pentax K-50

AFAIK it's once in a lifetime issue. Pentax knows there is a problem, but it's not so large or so often to recall all K-50 and K-30. Simply those that already out get to be serviced. Technician at Pentax Athens knew exactly the problem just from describing it so there must be a troubleshooting guide from Pentax itself for this problem.

Somewhere between the Boooookeh of #3 and great panning technique of #11. #15 fits right on the subject though. #9 would be great with curtain flash to freeze the water end spot rather the trajectory.

Pentax is a company like all the rest.
It has entire stashes of products that didn't make the standards and were cut from selling.
How possible you think it is for someone get his hands on these? I am in Greece, so I am pretty much sure this CAN happen.
Plus I said Zero seals on the bottom. We didn't open the top, back or front. There are 13 screws on the bottom side unscrew them and take a peek.
And also these cameras are rarely problematic. I almost didn't found any post regarding mirror flop and you need to have a technician who can trust you with these details. Pentax surely won't tell this to you if it's true. I work at a photostore which provides service as well.
Anyway I sent my k50 to Official Pentax service and waiting to receive word from them anyday now.
Any1 knows how much a lever diaphragm costs?
