Gave the K200D a work out yesterday, used it as back up at an Airshow, worked just fine!

Ok, thanks guys, so I need to calibrate it when arriving at the location and again if I move. Also the 10-17 isn't the best lens to use, I have an old 28-70 manual lens which I might try.

Thanks again.

No, I didn't, I'll recheck before my next attempt. Should I do it at home or at the site?

This was taken with k3ii and 10-17 lens, July 31st. 42secs, f4, iso 1600, . I see a certain amount of star trails, but I had Astro Tracker on, did I not set it right? or is there some way to confirm it's working?

Thanks in advance for your always positive comments.

Tuggie76.

I'm a bit late with joining this, but I had a lot of fun learning how to process infra red images, something I've never done before, and probably never will again! Thanks for hosting Graeme, and well done johnc for a well deserved win.

I've been on vacation, I just tried to download the image but it repeatedly failed. I suggest closing it off and moving on.

Ok, time to finish her off, lots of different approaches to this, but I feel Todd's is the one that gets my vote, so, well done Todd! Now back to the basement and figure out PP301!

Well, not much response to this one, but 2 excellent pictures. I think graeme83 takes the prize though as I like the sinister feel of the pic with the guy in the hoodie lurking in the shadows. Well done Graeme, and thanks to Photocles for participating.

I asked this question a few years back, the answer I got is that that is the way it is, there is no adjustment. It's annoying I know, even the lightest diffuser weighs the head down so only 90degrees is usable.
