FA31 for life! But the FA35 is no slouch either - the size for the speed is pretty darn nice.

How long has the search function not been working here? Try going to the Photographers Marketplace and "Search This Forum" - either by Advanced or Regular search, it searches and displays every Forum and SubForum instead of actually searching the Marketplace. Meaning you can't actually search the Marketplace ... make it nearly pointless.

Banned on DPR, anyone else?

I think you were actually banned for faking ownership of multiple lenses. You claimed to own a bunch of glass you clearly didn't, multiple members called you out (because they know you own MAYBE 5 lenses) and the admin took ya out of the equation. I've seen you troll posts in order to push lenses that you like and try to insult photography with lenses that you don't. You tend to lie about what you own so you can claim that your opinions about how bad "X" product is, are valid. Personally, I think the admins did an excellent job watching your song and dance and taking care of ya. :D

Suggestion Lens Reviews Need Cleaning Up Badly

It's really not tough to catch ... in fact, you can scan about 100 reviews for dead picture links in about 30 seconds. Dead links are dead links; waiting for them to come back up means littering the lens reviews with dead image links ... as suggested by multiple users, a single moderator could have the task done in less than a few hours of 'work'.

Suggestion 'Image Finder' not showing images from reviews.

By, "on the site" - I think you are intending to say "photos uploaded to PForums galleries". Meaning, to have a file included, a user has to upload to your galleries ... which would certainly seem to be the bigger privacy concern.

Time to clean up the reviews again; lots and lots of dead links appearing lately. Again, this is a situation that needs a moderator - or we'll all be bumping this thread to the end of time trying to remind someone that the Lens Reviews get flooded with junk every 3 months or so.

You may want to change the description then, it currently reads "All photos on our website ...". Meaning, that to have an image displayed you have to upload to PForums ... which makes the Image Finder seem like an attempt to boost uploads to your galleries, rather than use the shots already on the website as samples.

The recently installed 'Image Finder' isn't picking up the images posted in the reviews for lenses; which constituted pretty much the entirety of the prior way to find photos based on lens used. I'd love to see PForums include those images as well.

Ned Bunnell to Retire as President of PENTAX RICOH IMAGING AMERICAS CORPORATION; Jame

It kind of looks like Ned got pushed out - they are clearly wanting to consolidate the 'message' and those involved with day to day operations (notice that Pentax USA wasn't exactly 'in the loop' when it came to products being researched, etc.). And there is nothing related to FF in that statement that I can see - it's a general PR statement that someone read WAY too much into.

Suggestion Lens Reviews Need Cleaning Up Badly

It appears that reviews can currently be 'bumped' to the top with someone claiming to find the review helpful (it would seem wiser to keep the reviews in order - currently there is no way to sort reviews by date) ... but as far as cleaning out dead links from reviews - it should take a matter of minutes. If the links are dead, delete the links - if they aren't, leave them alone.

FWIW - on the FA*24 have you remembered to move the focus ring forwards/backwards in order to switch from AF to MF? Remember, this must be done in addition to the switch on the body ... just a thought.
