Pentax-A 20mm 2.8 haze - thoughts?

I think the guy said A20 2.8 . That would be a rare one.
the seller should have seen that much dust and nasty thing in the lens but still described it as "no major dust/fungus". It show the person's bad intention right from the beginning. I would guess he/she won't accept the return whatsoever. Hope the OP can get a refund one way or another.

Thank you a lot. yes, it is a long exposure shot on a tripod. Sat a camera near traffic light where people will have to stop and wait. I learn that 9 out of 10 people will check their phone when wait for the green light and when people reading something on phone, they will be absolutely no movement beside their fingers maybe!

thanks, You are right. I posted it on my Instagram page and after posting, I feel the same. IG won't let people edit photo after post so I leave it as it is.
And that house look a kind of scary in real-life  all windows are covered by vegetation. Somebody live there for sure! I can tell from seeing its past photos on internet. It quite famous for local here.

Don't forget phone related companies. They are trying to take control more then just someone's personal computer.
Some were listening to you without asking for a permission. They apologize but only after get caught. Some go as far as make the default option to share your internet with public. You have to manually opt it out. Some make it seemingly hard to create an account because they said, they have high standard for security to protect user's privacy, but when it comes to cause cutting, security and privacy right go out the window! etc

Not that I have a fix for you but looking at the photo of your set up and I think you definitely know what your are doing in your field.
I would contact Pentax directly and show them what happen. See what they can offer you. Go to their Facebook, maybe?
Get a sharp image on a tripod with an expensive pro level DSLR shouldn't be this hard for an experienced photographer like you.

K3 forgetting date every time it shuts off

Same problem! Leave main battery in the body and leave it on will work only about 3-4 days. Longer than that the camera will forget the time/date setting. I don't have a solution but reset the date every time I want to use my camera. Don't care about the time.

FA 35/2 on a manual focus camera: crazy?

Same impression here. I prefer the rendering from FA 35.

However it's hard to beat the focus ring on the K and M.
I used to have FA35 classic and often do manual focus with it. It is not that bad, but it can not be compared with my K and M lenses. You actuary make me think about get the FA35 back.

It might depend on how old is older editing software you are talking about, A copy of my CS6 which came out 2012 still can be run on Windowns10 latest update.
and Now, most software has moved on to online subscription which mean the software companies will have to issue update to all subscribers, so I don't think it will be too much problem for us as users.
