It has been on a while as it has less than 2 days left to run, with 22 watchers, maybe some from here?.

I'm glad to share them :).

I have considered a bike again in recent years, a version of the Guzzi V7 appeals. I test rode one about 10 years ago, it was great. My self preservation holds me back and it would kill my photography budget stone dead:(.

I'm glad you liked them, thanks for commenting.

Porsche still make Chelsea tractors, they don't plough fields either:). I had to look up the YDS3, nice bike and I bet it was fun too. I had an SR 500 too. I recall I had to get off after thirty minutes to recover as every part that touched the bike would be numb:):). I dare not stop it as it was a pig to restart hot.

The detail of the Honda cub really was something and all the viewers around it agreed it was spot on, a well liked bike.

Here are a last few lest I over do it.

Thanks for looking:), this is on my doorstep so to speak and I was unaware of it until one of the members of a local photographic group I belong to mentioned it, so I had to go along. The smaller bikes were imaginative and high quality too.
I particularly liked the immaculate RD350LC and a Suzi X7 (I had both back in the day). The yellow trike and a 1.6 Zetec engine, nice.

I have some more of the Porsche tractor shots... coming up.

There has been an unofficial Boxing day meeting at Wickham, Hampshire for a number of years where members of the public bring along their projects.
These range from restored classic bikes and cars to tractors, three wheelers, steam lorries and what have you.
Here are a few of the small bike projects, and other nicely restored vehicles.

These are from a roll of Konica VX400 24 exp, expired around 2005. Super A with the HD DA 40mm i believe, with a Hoya CPL on. I didn't take notes on this roll.

Edit, The feather is using the FA 35 F2 without CPL.

These are from a roll of Kodak High Definition 200 24 exp. that I was given, having expired around 2006.
It came out much better that expected.

These are from my newly light sealed ME Super with Ektar 100. I had my last batch of rolls processed by Peak-Imaging who did a fine job.

Ilford Delta 400 taken with a Super A.
The ME Super in the first image is a new acquisition that I have just replaced the light seals on, and run a roll of Ektar 100 through. It worked fine with no leaks!:) More these later.

Now that is scary. The tape looks like it should have done a fine job:(.
I bought an ME Super from a charity shop recently and replaced the light seals from a set bought online, now I'm worried. I shone a torch around the door on the first shot to show up leaks too:(.
I've a roll of Ektar 100 in it and waiting for the sun to shine a bit before I start shooting. Oh well, we will see in a couple of months or so.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
You can do portrait shots with the kit lens and it is quite versatile.
I would suggest you look at a Sigma 17-50 f2.8, for this and your night photography as it is fast and a good price but not WR. As a bonus it has a AF/MF switch that will enable you to use the catch in focus function.
The K-70 is a swiss army knife type of body that will allow a ton of working methods through it's drive modes, so it's a great choice. You will need a remote though.

I am not a fan of the Independant and the article fails for me in the first sentence.
It presupposes that our memories are infalible, they are not and I often come across photos of places I had forgotten I'd visited.
Isn't that why photography was invented in the first place?

We ought to have a book review section?, then again there are reviews all over the place so maybe not.

Today my Son came over with his GF, having had Christmas at hers this year. So we did Christmas day all over again and I got 'The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC / Lightroom 6 Book: The Complete Guide for Photographers Paperback' from my list.
