There is about a 200 dollar difference between the K70 and the KP if you have the funds the KP is a very nice compact camera. The 18-135 is a great walking around lens.

My favorite is the 24-70 Pentax great lens If I could only have one lens this would be it. I have a Sigma 50mm F1.4 no longer in production but it is a great lens wonderful in low light. I also have the following Pentax 50 F2.8 Macro, Sigma 70mm Macro F2.8 ( no longer in production in kmount) a Sigma 70-200 F2.8 no longer available in K mount, the 70-200 is my favorite to use at events at the granddaughters school . A Rokinon 14 mm F2.8 and a Rokinon 85 F1.4 both of which are decent lens with out auto focus. I have recently added a cheap 70-300 Sigma because I needed something light for trips to the zoo with grandchildren and Pentax offers nothing in FF like it.

I am not a great fan of the non auto focus lens but the cost was very low.

My low light APS-C combo is the KP with a SIgma 30mm F1.4 art lens the only affordable art lens in the series. I have an older Sigma 50 F1.4 which I use on my K1 and it works great sadly the Sigma 50 F1.4 is no longer available in K mount

I just want a mirrorless that uses Kmount and has a view finder. The KP body size would be perfect for a mirroreless

First Photography is about learning and I have a lot to learn. Photography is about communication, vision, relaxation, joy and sadness. I am not an artistic person but I can appreciate the creative process in others . I enjoy the well crafted image and the image that is just well timed both have a place in my world.

I take family images to share with my friend and family they seem to enjoy them. I take urban landscape and share them with my friends and family but they are for my enjoyment.

Photography has so many different types and elements it is constantly giving me more things to learn it is a smorgasbord for me to choose from every day. But the bottom line is it is fun and I enjoy it and have done so ever since I received an instamatic 104 camera in the 60's

It was a great camera Christmas for me. I received a KP and a FA 24-70 ( I have a K1 to use it on) from my wife. A tripod trolley from my oldest son and a book from my sister about Edward Curtis a photographer in the late 1880 who photographed native American which I have started to read and it is a good read

A mirrorless (K-02) with an EVF and in K mount I do not care if it is wider than a Sony.

Pentax flash gun

Lots of choices and if you want a manual flash they are dirt cheap. TTL will cost you more and of course the Pentax will cost an arm and a leg . I have found the manual flash easy to use and I shoot manual so it really is not a big deal. I have SIgma TTL flashes , Lumopro and Yongnuo manual flashes. I use a Phottix Ares trigger set to get the flash off the camera and I do have several TTL cords. A word of caution Yongnuo makes a trigger that if installed backwards on a hot shoe is impossible to remove I only know this because I have done it.

I thought I had a good solution to having multiple camera bodies I always bought black ones and only let my wife see no more than two at any one time. My oldest son gave me one day saying 'Mom did you know dad has 7 cameras" which she did not. Now to let her know about the lenses

K-02 FF anyone?

Having a K01 and having grown to like the little beast which I only bought it because it was a close out I would like a FF K02. I really don't want a small camera look at how small the Sony's are there just tiny like a toy. Of course a mirrorless in the K mount would be great if it had a view finder. Production cost without the mirror assembly are less and weight is reduced. Another reason of course I would like to see K mount in mirrorless is the number of K mount lenses I have. I think eventually all new cameras will be mirrorless it just makes cost and production sense.

Is K3 Auto focus really that bad?

My k3's and I have 2 have not had any issue with auto focus. I use a sigma 18-250 as a walking around lens and am happy with the results.

Yes the Fuji range finder looking camera are attractive and if I only wanted to impress people they might be what I would want, heck I would owne a Leica, but I want to take pictures. I want to take pictures with a camera that works well and uses my current lenses looks are not that important.
