Found a new in box SMC Takumar 35/3.5 at a small camera shop in North Carolina for $75.
Didn't really need it, but couldn't resist an actual new/unused one.

Thanks Eric - I'm really enjoying the lens.
That lightening shot is just fantastic!

Thanks Shiner.
That mosquito shows how nice of a lens the PLM is. Mine doesn't get as much use since I got the 150-450, which I often carry along with the DA* 50-135. But when I want to pack light it's the one I grab.

A few more of our resident ruby-throated hummingbirds. First one is the male, second is female. |

Tried to capture the male chasing off the female but all I got was sky :)

Thanks!
The little buggers can be difficult to capture but once in a while I get lucky.

I too use it almost exclusively hand-held. It isn't hard to handle IMO. It can become somewhat heavy if holding it up for several minutes.
Like any long optic a slight amount of shake is exaggerated at distance - so I'll brace on something if needed to make sure any shake doesn't make me miss the focus. |

Very little time lately to take any pictures so I just try and snap a couple whenever I have the chance. |

Such an interesting video.
Folks in NYC would no doubt consider me provincial but my first thought was “try that with me an I’ll break your nose, take your film and generally break your shit“. That would never fly in a southern city.
But those same people don’t cast a second glance at such blatant rudeness.
