Apologies if it is totally off (am not a technically minded person).
But if recollection is correct (and the vague understanding of technical stuffs be correct as well).
Isn't this semi transparent mirror thingy already the case years ago, with the Sony A99/A99ii (A-mount, not E mount, the last of the A-mounters).

MPB.com , any members good experience with them on getting preowned items?
Saw their feedback rating on eBay, seems a fair number of negative feedback.

any member bought anything from Roberts (in Indianapolis), like in the recent 5-6 months?
Saw a lens which they graded as "Good", meaning "75-89% of original condition".
Mentioned there's dust but nothing else mentioned (which i will take it that they meant no fungus no haze etc).
Is the "Good" grading worth the effort?
Cuz this lens cost quite a bit.
So, thought to ask around.
Thanks.

honestly, am no avian expert (not even 10%).
And so, i turn to Wikipedia.
Based on what is there, seems these fellas are found all over Asia (and have started to be in Oz).
There seems to be one or two males around where i stay.
Cuz every morning without fail, that fella will be the "natural alarm clock" that wakes everyone up.
Sometimes they are near, sometimes further.
But sure you are going to hear them. Asian koel - Wikipedia
To add.
It apparently is a protected species in Singapore!!!!

Letting go of the Sigma 17-35mm EX Asph f2.8-f4.
Fullframe lens.
Asking SGD230 obo (including PayPal fee exclude shipping).
Will ship worldwide (just not some places, pm to check).
That's around USD166 to USD172 (depending on paypal's exchange rate when processing payment)
Comes with original Sigma front cap, generic PK mount rear cap, original lens hood.
Glass is clean, in that there's no haze no fungus.
but not clean in that there's some amount of dust in it and goodness knows how, what looks to be small strands of hair, how these got in there.
But this is the exact same condition it came to me in (despite back then the seller claiming glass is clean and clear etc and to my disappointment when i looked)
But doesnt seem to affect image output. The few times that i used this lens, image output as good as anything else.
(My "disappointment" stemmed from the fact that i paid a whole lot more for this, in the belief that "glass clean and clear", not because of image output being negatively impacted)
Thus, am describing it as accurately as i could (to my own detriment).
Aperture ring works nicely, clicking nicely and 'A' position clicks into place when using on DSLRs (i used this on my film MZ-S as well).
This is the lens >> Sigma 17-35mm f2.8-4 EX Aspherical Lens Reviews - Sigma Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database
Anyone who might be keen, please pm me.
Lens isnt heavy, thus, shipping not likely to cost too much.
And if you would like to view image output, i could snap a couple of pics on the K-1 and email it over.
Returns only if item isnt as described, return shipping on buyer.
(You can check out the feedback i have as a seller, nothing less than being as honest and accurate as could be).
Cheers.

Sony RX10 mk iv.
Everything you'll need from 24mm to 600mm field of view.
(Unless wanting wider than 24mm or bigger than 1inch sensor)
And if dont mind even smaller sensor, anything from the Pentax Q line up should be as tiny as it could get.
(Or a K-01?)

Fantastic snap!
Is this background blur as it is by the lens (ie no pp on "smoothening" the blur)?

As before, if buyer received item that is not as described (ie, i was less than candid in describing its conditions etc), buyer can return (with shipping on buyer).
(But if buyer damaged it in course of opening package and testing item, then no seller can or should be held responsible for that).
Interested buyers can check on the feedback i have.
Have always described items as clearly as i know it (even when it is something negative).

Great lens, a heartache to let go.
A fine copy of the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 EX DG APO marco hsm-ii.
This is the lens >> Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG APO Macro HSM II Lens Reviews - Sigma Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database
As is usual with lenses of this age, dust specks are there.
Else, glass is clean, no haze, no fungus, aperture blades clean and snappy.
Comes with original lens hood, original Sigma tripod collar, front and rear caps. No box.
I am not original owner from now and didnt have box when i acquired it.
This copy works perfectly fine on the K-1.
I used it on a few occasions with my K-1, AF works fine, AF is silent and fast, little to no 'AF hesitation'.
Will ship worldwide, but please note this is not a tiny lens and thus, dont have unrealistic expectations that shipping will cost USD50; that's just not realistic.
That said, am willing to work with interested parties to work out something better.
Asking SGD620 obo (inclusive PayPal fee, exclude shipping).
SGD620 is around USD458 to 468 (depending on PayPal exchange rate when processing payment).

This is most odd.
There are so many zooms that cover till 400mm (am assuming you are looking at zooms), i am left wondering which section of the lens review you went to and could not find a lens covering the 300mm to 400mm side.
(Unless, you are specifically looking for a 200mm to 400mm zoom?)
Here are some of the (AF) zooms that go at least 400mm that i am aware of (since you indicated wanting more reach than 300mm)
>>
1) Sigma 50-500mm
(There's a couple of versions)
2) Sigma 150-500mm
(Think there's two versions)
3) pentax DFA 150-450mm
4) sigma 135-400mm
(DG and non-DG)
5) Tokina ATX 80-400mm
6) sigma 120-400mm
(There appears to be quite a few versions of this 120-400)
7) pentax 250-600mm
8) sigma 170-500mm
(A few versions as well)

No "humble pie eating" needed.
We are all learning, day in day out.
I am really keen to know, whether this is really how it is in Manchester.
"Variations in language" "by region" (ie "regions" within same country) isnt something that is out of ordinary.
Is there any Mancunian on forum who can shed some light on this.
This is most interesting.
