Hey, Edom,
Enjoyed the street shot of the lady waiting for the bus. One can feel the engagement of her lookout. Bet she'd take issue over you're referencing her as "old". Ha !

On my monitor, I found the raccoon with the 12mp crop to have the most pleasing depth of field and contrast. Lived in Germany 3 years with a humble Brownie Holiday Flash camera, from which I cannot find any of the pictures, having put them in a "safe place". Nice work.

"Johnny Mac",

I truly enjoy what you see, and how you see it. Loads of interesting POV's.

JM,
I just visited your Flickr account. Are any the Norway shots done on film with an old Pentax using the 17-50 lens? I particularly liked the view of the rock formation into the water, the paper white birch tree in the foreground. Reminds me of upstate New York.

I like how the K-7 handles to this day. By comparison, the K-5 Silver is tank-like. Just my opinion, as it is more capable than I.

I like it. I felt It mated well in good light with the old K100d. (Photo processed AC/DC.)

I seldom use anything but Tamron zooms. (Same 28-75, same wedding event, different groups of folks).

...another offering with the K-7, 28-75. Not as clean as I'd liked, but the compelling gaze was marvelous-

Funny, the first thing which struck me upon viewing this urn was just how brilliant the colors were. I tend to shoot Fuji point and shoots for the color and convenience of the cheap camera's zoom and color pallet. 2 "Likes" for your work, as if I were the arbiter of all things....

Johnny Mac: Love the mood you help create. (By that, I mean to imply that it takes 2 in the process of making a photograph; one to capture the image, another to view it. Of course, we view our own photos, but we bring a different POV into the mix once the moment is stilled.) I admire your work.

The Tamron 17-50mm seems to make a great street shooting lens for my K-7.
Captured 7.21.12, are Nerdy Bidrys Sarah and John Knight, "NerdyBirdyCookies.com" Clarksville Downtown Market, Clarksville, TN. The lens makes sharp, colorful renderings. The Nerdy Birdys make wholesome, great tasting gluten-free cookies, similar to the excellent treats found in downtown Eurpoean open air markets. VisualImaginings Photographic Art
