The new One World Trade Center as it was nearing completion. If you haven't been to the Observation level on the top, you need to do it at least once. The elevator ride alone is amazing.

My first train set was a Lionel "O" gauge set that was used as a Christmas display in the window of my father's Friedman's Jewelers store for several years. When they stopped using it, he gave it to me one Christmas. That was in the late 1960's and I still have it and it still works. I then went on to HO gauge and N gauge.

This is the entrance to the Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina. If you have never been to see the house, I encourage you to visit, especially at Christmas.

I typed many a school paper on one of those. Electric typewrites and early word processors were the thing then but I still used a manual. I had two professors that gave me extra credit becaused I used a manual and had no mistakes or correction marks on my papers. You learned how to type because it was too much trouble to retype the whole thing if you messed up.

I worked in a county courthouse for 30 years, the last 12 of those as an elected official. I now work part time for a company that contracts with cities and counties and so I get to see a lot of courthouses. I have started taking a picture of each one I visit.

The picture below is the Early County Courthouse located in Blakely, Georgia.

Digital Utility 5 software that comes with the K70

I don't think I have ever used the software that came with any of my Pentax cameras except on the very rare occasion. I started using Lightroom right after it came out and when it was a stand alone software that you could purchase the one time. I have used it so much that I upgraded several times and now do the subscription. For the past few years I have also been using One 1 Photo. Once you learn it, it is fairly easy to use. If you don't have any other software other than the DCU5 software, you may want to try something like One 1 Photo Raw or the free Linux versions. If I was just starting out, I would Darktable or Raw Therapee.
