Thanks

I took this in my Kitchen. I Turned the flash to the right so the light would bounce off the cabinet that was about 2 feet away. I used my Metz on camera flash.

I have this flash too and it is worth the money. I love this flash.

I have a cheap Yongnuo 560 iii. I bought first to see if I like using flashes. Since the Yongnuo was all Manual I learned more using it. BUT the thing did not last long. It will not shoot when On the Hot Shoe. SO I use it as a slave. It is a great Slave flash. These are not well made and do not last long. But while they work they are great. But even now I like having it as a slave. You get what you pay for.

I took this photo in my Kitchen at the end of the day. I Bounced my light off the side of my cabinet to get the right light on this flower. The Cabinet was about 2 feet away. I am all about trying to Bounce light from different angles.

I use to be SO anti Flashes. Because all I had to work with for years was a little pop up one or the harsh ones on point and shoots. My hate of the flash made me get pretty good at adjusting my settings and using the light I had around me. Now That I have a good flash I don't know why I waited so long to learn about Flash photography. It's really awesome and has helped my photos a lot.

Well I thought my flash was working again and that I fixed the problem then it died again when I was trying to take photo for a friend . I am so done with it.

So it has come down to the pentax af 540fgz , Metz AF52, or Metz 58 AF-2 .

I want a powerful flash that will last a long time. I would like it to be able to be on auto but it does not have to be.

The camera is a tool. but not everyone knows how to use the tools right. That is like saying you have a nice paint brush and thats some really good oil paint. It takes an artist to use the tools to make art.

Next time give the camera to the person and say here take some photos like I just did.

I need a new flash.

I bought a Yongnuo YN 560 III about 5 months ago. It worked great till now. It will not fire on the hotshoe. It still works as a slave so it is not useless.

So I will keep it as a slave flash and now I am looking for another flash that will last longer and I am willing to pay over $100 but not more then $300.

I was looking at these. I want a well made flash that will last longer then my cheap yongnuo. what are some good brands.

Metz mecablitz 36 AF-5
Sigma EF-610 DG ST
Pentax AF 360 FGZ
Pentax AF-500 FTZ

I never use flash I learned to hate the flash because I have always used the one that comes on the camera. I did learn how to use the settings and got it to work a bit better for me. I just got a constant led light that is really nice for shooting my fish and aquariums. But I feel I need a good or ok strobe. I think of myself as kind of new to flash photography.

I don't want to spend a lot of money on a flash I want a good flash under $40 . Would it be worth it to get a nice flash? If so any ideas on what one.

lens flare can be the thing that kills a photo of make a photo fun and different. I have been playing around with Lens flare ones time I did not mean for it. The other times I was looking for it.

What are your thoughts on the use of lens flare?
Lens flare I did not want but turned out kind of cool.

The car was a bit dirty the day I took these . So its getting cleaned. I was not crazy about the backgrounds I had to work with. So I am going to get some better photo when its clean and we drive it someplace better then our street.

Thanks for that. It was hard to get the focus right. I wanted to get a good clear photo of the inside part of the flower. I like dark photos with black backgrounds and the subject light. The flower could be a bit brighter I agree.

Yeah this little Marco filters are fun. I need more practice I will try them on my other lens too.

I almost killed this plant and some how it came back to life. I thought it would be a good subject for a macro photo shoot.

I was using the glass lens filters that go on the front of any lens. So not a real macro lens. These filteres make for some interesting photos. I think what do you think?

Who gives a **** what they think. Be proud of your brand. If they give you the look then give it right back.
