I was happy to remove the baffle and replace it with a cardboard successfully. But, I dropped one screw when I put it back to tighten the SDM contact. The lens performs flawlessly on K-1, but I just like to put that tiny screw back.

Does anybody know the screw size and where to buy its replacement?

Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

Soligor Bokina?

I have the above mentioned 3 lenses----Viv S1 M90, Tokina M90 and this Sologor 100mm macro, so I know a little bit about them.

I was in the same circumstances as of OP years ago, so I bought this Soligor and tried to find something out............

The Soligor 100mm macro is a good lens and it is way cheaper, but.........it is NOT a variant of Bokina. I was a little bit disappointed when a got this conclusion, and now I feel sorry to let you know this.

You may get good pictures with this Soligor lens, but if you have the chance to compare the pictures taken with Soligor and Bokina then you will know the differences.

My suggestion: Treat it as if it is a Bokina, and enjoy the pictures you get with it. Happy photographing!

Example taken with K200D+Soligor C/D 100mm macro:

It's a long but beautiful drive from Idaho to eastern Sierra. I visit June lake loop 2-3 times every year and love the fall colors the most.:)

Talked to some anglers at Twin Lakes near Bridgeport, and they seemed unhappy.

Thanks for your nice words.

Landscape Atop Sentinel Dome(Yosemite)

There is Sentinel Rock at the middle in the picture above and Pohono trail runs behind it along the south rim of the valley west to Taft point and all the way down to Tunnel View.

Judged by the trail condition from parking lot to Sentinel Dome, I knew most of the Pohono Trail should be still covered by snow in the shaded area especially in the dense forest. So I didn't take Pohono Trail but hiked back to the parking lot instead and then hiked the official 1.1 mile trail to Taft point and the Fissures. It's tricky to find a good point to cross Sentinel Creek because the water was high and the snow bridge was melting away. I lost my way once in the snow and got back to the right direction eventually. And I enjoyed the whole Taft Point by myself for almost 2 hours till 3 other hikers showed up. Taft Point looked like this............

I think most of them are native, but I am not so sure. This linkmentioned all of the names, but I could not match the name with flower.:o

I hardly shoot landscape with macro lens, I'm happy for getting good results. Some one told me macro lens is designed for close object, not for landscape.:)

@Susan, yes it is like a heaven for hikers and wildflower lovers. I met many pro photographers on the trail, one came form Canada.

You may visit this place during late March/Early April, it peaks for 2-3 weeks only. :)

I've been living in California for almost 20 years. I visited this Carrizo Plain 1st time 2 weeks ago and loved it, so I went back on last Sunday again just for the flower show.

The flowers are amazing, it's so colorful hill after hill. I can't wait till I retire to enjoy a little bit of my misery life. :D

Here is another one to show how gorgeous it is. Enjoy it.
