I'm buying a couple Godox AD200 strobes....which trigger do you recommend?

Xpro trigger is definitely much better than the X1-T. Just make sure the Xpro is something you need. It could be a little bit of overkill if you're just starting out and all of the options/features can be overwhelming. The X1-T is much simpler and easier to use. I own both and use the Xpro when I need it and the X1-T when I'm not doing anything serious.

I purchased the Nikon version and never had any out of the ordinary issues, but I've heard of some people buying the Canon version as well.
Do you already own the V6ii's?

I was able to get high speed sync with two Cactus V6ii and an X1T. Works well. Occasional misfires, but was able to get the job done when needed. The AD200's are pretty great.

A deal I had fell through earlier today, so I figured it'd only be fair to offer others the same deal.

DFA 100 Macro (non wr) - $300 (net to me). Buyer pays shipping and insurance.

Buy both for $1600 (net to me) shipping included. Insurance optional.

Nice case and cheap, but unfortunately not big enough. The largest strobe I have is a Flashpoint 1220 that is a little over 20 inches long.

Strobe Storage Recommendation Needed

Over the course of the last couple of years, I've pieced together a decent collection of monolights. In total, I have about 6 different strobes in varying sizes. I've got a couple of alienbees, a couple of flashpoint monolights, and just recently acquired a couple of Impact monolights (they were really cheap and powerful, so why not?). I purchased a Husky 35 gallon mobile tool box about a year ago and have never really found a decent solution for adding padding/foam to the toolbox. I'd like to be able to protect the monolights when I'm transporting them in the box or just for general storage.

Here are the possible solutions I've been able to come up with so far:
1) Purchasing individual bags for each one and then storing in the box
2) Kaizen Foam
3) Generic Foam from Amazon or an arts and crafts store

I'm not completely sold on any of the solutions because I have no experience doing this kind of stuff. I'm really hoping someone that does can guide me in the right direction.

Thank you ahead of time for any help!

Need Help With Flashpoint Powerstation PS-800
Posted By reivax

I received my new Flashpoint Rapid 1200 yesterday and was excited to get my Flashpoint Powerstation PS-800 to go out and do some outdoor HSS photography. The package arrives and I pull everything out of the box so that I can charge the power supply when I realize I have no way of charging the Powerstation because the charger I was sent is broken... I purchased the Powerstation used from Adorama and was pretty confident with the order because I've never had any issues buying used products from them. Unfortunately, this time I had my first time for everything. Adorama is closed until Monday so I can't contact them for suggestions so I'm hoping someone here can help me. I'd love to be able to charge the unit so I can use it this weekend. I actually had some plans to take some outdoor portraits of my daughter on Sunday.

Up until now, my research hasn't brought me any solutions I can use. I'd really love to be able to use the Rapid 1200, but I can't seem to figure anything out. I do have this power supply:

amazon.com: NEXGADGET 42000mAh Laptop Power Bank, Portable Outlet Lithium-ion Power Supply for Camping Emergency Backup with DC, AC & USB Output: Cell Phones & Accessories?tag=pentaxforums-20&

Can that work? Or do I run the risk of damaging the power supply or strobe? Other than that, I can't think of any other solutions. The plan was to shoot somewhere where I already know there are no places to plug in the strobe. Any help would be incredibly appreciated.

I'd love to have the profiles as well (especially the FA 50 1.4). I agree that using some form of an organized database would really be helpful.

What Is Your Favorite "Run & Gun" Modifier For Outdoor Use?
Posted By reivax

Hello,

I'm looking for a flash modifier that I can use outdoors. I have a few softboxes that I use when I'm stationary, but I'm looking for something that I can use outdoors and moving around a lot. I'm expecting to use this handheld (camera in one hand, modifier in the other). I'm looking for something big enough to cover half body shots, but small enough that I could carry around in a bag or backpack (that part isn't the most important, it's the portability when in use that matters most).

I would be using the modifier with either a speedlight or a Godox AD200.

As always, thank you for all of your help and suggestions!
