You have a great eye and pick interesting framing on your auto images. I'm really liking the rendering of that new DFA too! Well done.

I'm running Aperture on High Sierra. No problems. Like you heavily invested. Though I have tried ON1 and Photos on a few photos to determine if I need to leave Aperture behind....so far answer is no.

Agreed. They must be pretty unafraid of humans as you are so close.

Here is another from my hike in the rain.

VL 58. It is contrasty enough that I love taking it out when there are grey dull skies.

These two are in Sintra. A beautiful city in Portugal. The second image is from a Moorish Castle and the first is a hillside view from where I was staying.

The palace in Sintra is this magical and somewhat surreal structure. First couple, I was attempting to capture some of the crazy angles and details. The focus lock and hyperfocal markings make focusing with this lens super manageable.

Very nice Patriot. I have enjoyed your tour of the south west parks! It is a section of the country I haven't spent nearly enough time in.
Here are are a few from our time in Evora, Portugal.

Took my 28-105 and Irix 15 to Portugal for a vacation. Got to say the 28-105 is a dynamite lens. Not the fastest lens out there but lots of color and love the rendering. I'll be posting a few from the trip as I start to process them. Here are a few from lisbon evening skies.

Is the new DA 20-40mm a worthy alternative to the DA 21 and DA 40 ltd?

Hi. This topic has come up quite a bit and you might want to search for this topic. Also check the the DA20-40 lens club to see a whole host of images. A few years ago I was in your same situation. Actually also had the DA 35 ltd.. Gave up the whole lot of DA Ltds and loved the DA 20-40. It is also WR so that was a plus for me. They are all high quality lenses so you can't go wrong either way. In the US at least the last few years Pentax has discounted this lens in the end of the year so you can save $100+.

Good luck with your decision.

Thanks Fenwoodian. The 35 always does a great job of rendering details.
