Hi!
I think it's been 7 years now, since my last post here on this forum.... yes, I've been shooting family photos, but not really took time for myself..
And now it's the time to get back in "business" :-) Today I grabbed my SMC-M lenses, which I was about to sell.... I changed my mind. :-)

Yes it works, but:
1. It works on film bodies
2. It works also on DSLR, but you have to mount the lens in a specific way (not fully mounted), so the body doesn't grab the aperture lever and open the lens wide. But in this case, you'll have trouble focusing at small apertures, as the lens is acting like M42.

Since I own a couple of 28mm lenses, some have to go. The first one is excellent SMC-M 28mm f/2.8.
I bought it in march 2008 and used it a couple of times. The only signs of use are visible on aperture ring (picture no. 2).
The lens is in fully working order of course, with snappy blades and no oil.
Front and back element are free from scratches.

Yes, DG is for FF camera, and YES if there is no aperture ring, you have to use it with the body, which can control the aperture.

Have to say, that this is a very good idea, but I'm very disappointed that this goes to US and Canada only.
Some of us are also a long time members and even site supporters, but are excluded from this Milestone award.
Don't know the reason for this, but you probably got one.

I think, it'll be easier to sell the equipment separatelly. Not a lot of people out there, willing to buy a complete system at once.
Othervise: a very good deal for a complete system!
