This is a fantastic software,
It works well on Mac /under Parallels / WIN 10, thank you!
Any chance to include the edit mode for changing SSID and Password in you software?
Right now the only way to change them is via Image Sync on iPhone.
kind regards
jack

Well, I have paid much more to get them from Japan.
The large one, particularly , is well priced indeed.

Pentax 18-270mm vs Sigma 18-300mm lens

Please note, there are two versions of Sigma 18-250, the older one big and heavy with OS
https://www.pentaxforums.com/userreviews/sigma-18-250mm-f3-5-6-3-dc-os-hsm.html
and the newer one , much smaller and MACRO, moreless the same size as DA 18-250
https://www.pentaxforums.com/userreviews/sigma-18-250mm-f3-5-6-3-dc-macro-hsm.html
and probably optically the best but bigger and heavier

Pentax Mirrorless?

I do not have a slightest desire to buy another mirrorless from Pentax,
have the Q , Qs1 and K-01, that is more than I can handle in mirrorless world.
Pentax please concentrate on improving FF and cropped DSLR's.

What Do Fellow Pentaxians Do For A Living?

For the last nearly 30 years I worked at the University as an AV and later IT/AV manager.
So I still use 1x Mac PowerBook titanium + 3x MacBook Pro's at home, 1x Macbook Pro and Macbook Air at work,
Plus a number of various Dell notebooks.
Well, I can perhaps be classified as a nerd or even as an old fart.
My place is an IT/AV Eldorado, ( separated a couple years ago, just having a break, still friends _ so finally can do what I really want!).
I have tried to sleep with Pentax cameras and a number of various lense, no I am not ready for this yet, none of the tripods did any better.
My cat is much more enjoyable choice although that might change with the time.......
Enjoy your Pentax gear while you can!

k-01 with DA 18-135, autofocus does not work

the DA 18-135 has no screw drive AF , 18-55 has.
can you possibly try your K-01 with another non screw AF lens, perhaps your SDM contacts/driver is faulty.

I think the only option you have would be to find used Sigma EX 10-20mm F4-5.6 DC ( non HSM, older version).
I used to have one, purchased it used in 2011 for AU$100. I gave it to my niece after purchasing Sigma 8-16.
Some photos taken with it:

It is a pretty decent lens, reasonable common and in most case, reasonably priced.

Help novice with replacing kit lens please..

Hi Timea,
I only used once the kit DAL 18-55 and DA 50-200 ( not DAL but optically they are identical) + Pentax-F 1.7x AF teleconverter with my Pentax Kx.
It was on my trip to Melbourne in NOV2010, I was not disappointed.
Melbourne NOV2010 | Flickr
Images are jpegs straight from the camera, Kx is a very enjoyable tool, still with my Family with both kit lenses.
After a short research I upgraded my kit to used Sigma 17-70 2.8-4.5 DC Macro ( non HSM) , absolutely loved it, you could practically touch the subject with the lens and image was still in focus.
I purchased two more of them ,both used, did a lot of traveling with them. Sold one, the second one did go to my niece with Pentax K-5 , the third one is permanently attached to K-30.
You can get them very well priced on the used market. Perfect for narrow old European Street and dark Churches.
Some photos taken with them:
Sigma DC 17-70 MACRO 2.8-4.5 | Flickr
Sigma DC 17-70 2.8-4.5 MACRO | Flickr
By using fast zooms you can find out what focal length is most important for you, then you can invest in good primes.
I would not recommend DA35 2.8 Macro as your first Prime.
It is very sharp and well build but focusing could be frustrating while you are trying to get something in a hurry.
This lens has very long focus run from macro to infinity.
I also have newer Sigma 17-70 2.8-4 DC Macro HSM Contemporary, AF is a bit faster and silent but optically they are very similar:
Sigma C 17-70 2.8-4 DC Macro HSM | Flickr
Auto Focusing , in the most cases, I use central single focusing spot, AF.S mode, lock the focus on the important part of the image, recompose and take the picture.
