But only if it "discombobulated" them, too.

"So," and "Well,", together with "Ummm", "Uhhh", and "Yes" (outside the context of an affirmative response) are all filler words, and reveal anxiety about the conversation, or a lack of preparedness in the subject matter. (Although "Well", in particular, could indicate that the following statement only has a handshake relationship with the truth. I always think of parodies of Ronald Reagan when this subject comes up.)

I like commas. (And parenthetical asides, too!)

I have more respect for the people on this forum than I do for the keyboard warriors on other social media platforms. What I would generally try to correct on FaceBonk, I will let slide in here.
Most of the people on PF aren't professional wordsmiths. It really irks me when I see newsreaders ( they aren't journalists anymore, they only read other people's writing) using the language incorrectly. Yes, it is a living language that is ever evolving, but, please, try not to confuse your viewership. We're already getting dumber by the year. (Oh, and take time to learn how the locals pronounce place names. Nothing else does more to highlight you as an outsider.)

I use an El-Cheapo IR Remote I bought from Amazon for my K10. It works fine for my K3, as well.
I just went and looked, and there are a couple on the 'zon for between $8 and $30.

Help : K-85-210mm-F3.5-Zoom spots in image

Take a picture of a well-lit, single, light colored area like the sky, on manual focus, and turn the focus all the way to the closest setting. In other words, severely defocused, and an minimum zoom. Check that image for spots. If they're there, it's dust on the sensor.

I am having issues with a couple of packages. Kinda stands to reason.
1. 2020 [emoji6]
2. Covid has everyone shopping from home.
3. It's the week after black friday and the end of cyber week.
I would bet things will return to normal soon.

I seem to remember having to install a codec to make my win 10 machine show pef thumbs.
A quick search on the interwebs showed that download.cnet.com has a codec pack. Stick to known sources for the download, and you'll be fine.

Looks like it was stores under the bathroom sink. I would bake it to 180 degrees prior to touching it...
I had a lady who wanted me to look at her computer to see if I could find out why it kept shutting off.
I pulled the screws out of the side cover, cracked it open, then immediately slammed it closed and carried it out to the garage.
It was infested with those small, brown german roaches. They have an affinity for warm places, and had infiltrated the power supply to the point the fan would no longer work.
After bug spraying an area 3 ft wide around the box, and the box, I closed it up, brought it back to her, told her the problem and said I couldn't fix it.

Ebay Reviews

Me being all philosophical, and $**#...
Ebay isn't about selling a product, at least, not like Amazon and Walmart are.
Reviews would tend to be more about the seller, unless the seller was peddling garbage, and even that is on the seller, not the product so much.
We go on there looking for a known product, and choose a seller to provide it.
The flash sellers all linking to the same product reviews makes sense in that context.
Given your comments above, I agree with you that it doesn't make sense for eBay to give the sellers the power to tarnish the eBay brand by suppressing reviews. As I remember from back when, you could ask for arbitration for a review you felt was unwarranted, but that was your only option.

Ebay Reviews

If I had to guess, and it's only a guess, the seller has control of what reviews they allow.
It's also probable that the seller has the account set to review and approve your review before it went live.
It has been years since I bought or sold anything on ebay. I'm sure a lot has changed.

The last one I bought was about 10 years ago, and it had a warning to put it as the top layer, not under a quilt or comforter. My assumption then was that it could catch fire, but it never did.

Kind of like the discussion we have about that damned Franklin stove she bought.
She will fire that thing up and have it 80 in here, and I'm sweating my a$$ off. I'll open the back door to cool it off, and she gives me "the look".
I give it right back, lol.
The last time we had an electric blanket, I bought one with dual controllers so I could turn my side down or off.

A further comment on the differences between RawTherapee and Gimp.
Gimp is geared more towards image creation and editing, i.e. replacing background, red-eye correction, etc; whereas RT is more of an image developing tool, similar to taking negatives into a darkroom and coming out with images. It changes characteristics of the image, but not the image itself, other than cropping.

Are you downloading directly from the camera, using the computer's default "download your photos" program?
Try going info your file browser (Explorer, if you're using Windows), and navigate to the camera\DCIM folder and copy or move the files that way. The default "photo-getter" program doesn't recognize RAW files, since they technically aren't image files. (They're data files.)
For RAW files, my preference is to remove the card from the camera and use a card reader to copy the files. I will delete the files off of the card once I have confirmed I haven't got any corrupted files.
