Hi!
Bad weather here at home and so I grapped two appels...

Bokeh:

f2

f2.4

f2.8

f3.5

f4

Sharpness in 100%:

f2

f2.4

f2.8

Bokeh IMHO is very nice and top sharpness up to f2.4.

:-)

Still in love with the Nokton 35/1.2...

Last week I bought a VC Heliar Classic 50mm f2 lens on eBay. Still on the way.
Cannot wait to put my hands on it... ;-)

Really nice.
Saw something else this week:

Tell my wife, its here package... :)

BTW.

We often are dissatisfied with the viewfinder VF-2. But once again I love the work with it on a tripod. Its a dream to change the angle of the finder in any kind to fit the position of the tripod needs.
I´m not shure if I really will have a new body with build in finder?!

So, I have taken a lot of pics this week.

The GXR-M plus the Nokton 35mm f1.2 is a dream team!

Very good sharpness at f1.2, better on every f stop.

f1.2

f1.4

f1.8

f2

f1.2 or f1.4, I dont know it anymore... :-)

The A12 50mm is handicapped with f2.5.

Both at f3.2. Two crops to show that the Nokton is more in details.

A12

Nokton

The Pentax Super Takumar 55mm 1.8 is good sharp in the middle at f1.8, but the Bokeh...

f1.8

Yes, the Voigtlander lenses are a joy on the GXR.

Yes, I have. We spent the nights in a restaurant near our hotel. First night I use the Nokton for some dinner snapshots.

Voigtländer lenses are a real bargain. For you the 15mm Heliar, the old 35mm Nokton 1.2 (used around $700, the new one costs $1.300) may do the job.
For Macro like the DA35 I would grab the A12 modul 50mm. Also think about the old Pentax Super Takumar 55mm 1.8 or longer portrait jobs.

Stayed in Rom for a few days. The Voigtlander Nokton 35mm 1.2 was very helpful in the dark churches and museums.

I must buy a macro light.
The dof is the problem. The G2 only works good up to Iso 400, so with Iso 800 I cannot catch the whole fly:

Just bought a Lumix G2 with two old Canon FDn primes to go portrait tele and macro.

The 50mm is great fun for portrait:

$60 is a real bargain for that fine lens.

The 200 macro is a very special lens you must use a tripod.

MFT is really interesting!

One year fun now with the GXR.

I´m a happy camper.

Please Ricoh, give me a A16 85mm f2 and I will stay for the next ten years...

My A12 50mm has had a piece of dirt inside. I sent it to Ricoh Germany and within four (!) working days it is perfect cleaned back. :)

This is the kind of service I like to see with a premium product.

The 50mm Ricoh is very similar to the Pentax DA35 (except the missing CAs...).

Colors and so on:

You will love it! :-)
