Sorry for your bad luck, however; with your failures, there are many, many cameras out there that continue to give great service.

Hope your Q can be repaired, as they are a great little camera. I'd sure miss mine!

Thanks so much Adam. I didn't see anywhere on PayPal to cancel it, so thanks for pointing that out!

You can rest assured, I will continue to be a Loyal Site Supporter, every year! I really appreciate the Black Friday special price!

Adam, I just sent payment for the Black Friday Loyal Site Supporter. Now I get a message from PayPal that in the future it will be an automatic withdrawal. I do not want this, as last time, with no alert, funds were withdrawn without my knowledge, and overdrew my account, costing me a rather large overdraft fee.

I cannot see how to cancel the auto pmt thru PayPal, but I definitely do not want this. I would rather getting an alert when pmt is due, and then I can send it.

I've not had any freeze-ups at all, as of yet. A friend of mine also has this, and has reported no problems using it.

May not be for everyone, but I like it; and just thought I'd alert members to it.

First thing we did was remove those back seats! Mine's an '82, with around 110,000 miles. Whether you classify it as a pickup or not, I certainly haul a lot of things in it, which I couldn't in a passenger car.

Now back to lenses; I have a very inexpensive ProMaster 70-300 that I use a Tamron 1.4TC with. Pretty happy with it, but still want a 300 primary lens.

Uhhh, at one time, Subaru did make a pickup truck, the Brat, I have one!:D

I also wish to upgrade to a 300 lens. I can't afford to go any more than that, & I want something I can handhold. All my wildlife photos are spur of the moment, which require handholding.

I'm sorry to hear this, as noise reduction is something I use. Wonder why it's not available in the Windows version?

That is good news about the tutorials, and tech support. I think I'm going to give it a try. I really don't like Photoshop that much, and have been using FastStone the majority of the time.

Anyone used a previous version of this? If so how did you like it?

What's the general opinion of this software? It looks very interesting, and the price isn't bad at all.

I've had mine 2 years, and plan on keeping it, because I can't afford to upgrade to a newer body. Yes, I'm already old also, 76 years old!

Screw on Lens Caps?

This is just my experience so far. I'm not a "heavy hitter" photographer taking hundreds of shots a day, etc. But so far I've not seen any wear on any of my lenses.

No, no wear visible at all. These are a very soft material, so unlikely they would wear the finish on lenses.

I agree, I do not like the screw on caps! I've gone to the lens Hood Hats from OpTech for most of my lenses, & prefer them to even the pinch caps.

Let's give Adam a chance! He said he was going to work on them, including making them smaller. So, give the poor guy time to do it.:(
