Just thought I would post this as I just got it in my daily Buy.com email. Not sure if you need to click through email or not to get the price, but here's the link from the email -

Buy.com - Pentax K-30 16.3 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera (Body with Lens Kit) - 18 mm - 55 mm - Black - 3" LCD - 3.1x Optical Zoom - Optical (IS) - 4928 x 3264 Image - 1920 x 1080 Video - HD Movie Mode

Here's a link to the page I was taken to -

Buy.com - Pentax K-30 16.3 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera (Body with Lens Kit) - 18 mm - 55 mm - Black - 3" LCD - 3.1x Optical Zoom - Optical (IS) - 4928 x 3264 Image - 1920 x 1080 Video - HD Movie Mode

Sold from Sunset Electronics through Buy.com and has free budget shipping. According to the page that I was taken to, there are 7 left at this price as of 7:10 PDT.

If anything, was just nice to see Pentax represented for once.

Cheers!

There is a flange that is attached around the rear element. It's 2 or 3 screws to remove it and it doesn't affect the function of the lens to remove it. You can google it, but basically it creates an interference that won't allow you to mount the lens. Some people dremel it a bit so that the interference is no longer, but I just removed mine and the lens works great!

Nice shot! Regarding bird ID, looks like a Bushtit to me - especially considering you mentioned there was a flock of them and they flittered about continuously. The size of a Bushtit is akin to a Chickadee, if not a bit smaller, for something to compare it to.

I think I would crop this image on top and on the left, a bit. The twig in the upper left is distracting to me. Cheers!
