Improving videoclip quality?

Hello,
Does anyone know if it is a way to improve the quality of a video clip taken with a Pentax K-r on poor light?
As a lot of peoples knows that Pentax K-r can make movies on 1280x720 frame with 25frames/second.
I make some video clips in my house with a Pentax 135mm/3.5 .
The light appears on the clip fluctuating. It is quite annoying.
I tried to process the clip with Virtual Dub. No chance to get a constant light with all the filters possible.
I saw a new program on the internet called: vReveal.
I still didn't get the expected result (the image had more light but still not crispy).:(
Does anyone have experience with another software witch can made "miracles" with those clips?
Thank you

I noticed something very interesting.
The prices for M42 screw mount adapter with the Pentax K-01 launch get really crazy!
The same shop had 2 weeks ago a price for just one M42 screw mount adapter 15 dollars.
Now the same M42 is 25 dollars..."We wish to see as many launches as possible...so we can rise a M42 screw mount to the ultimate price.. may 100 dollars to the be a prime[/B] price"
I am really disappointed with that shop ..
Glad that is not the only one: lol: shop.
No chance to buy from that guys anymore, ever.
In place of the actual name I would call it from now on …Opportunist&Huge

Adam,
i found there some prices...just for one M42 mount:
M42 mount....$15,95 - good price
Shipping: UPS shipment "just for" ...$43,46 (three times the mount price)
And the final punch (like until now wasn't enough!) Duties&Taxes .....guess
Make it again 3 times the mount price and you come toooo....another $44,31
So the total of 1 Pentax screw mount M42 is : 103,72 bucks
That kind of business i want also to do.
I will get rich in 1 year for sure.
Thank you for the information.

Jatrax,
i tried to order from that site but didn't work buddy.
I see no option to buy it from there and then to ship it here, in Europe.
Thank you anyway!

I tried this site...
To be honest this i ment with bad quality.
I am not sure if this mount will destroy the camera or the lens.

I was just locking on the price.. For a genuine Pentax ,to have it also shipped to Europe will cost me 120 bucks..
That's like 100 euro.
For an Pentax M42 adapter...That's not fair.
As a lot of things in a life time:(..
So if i want to use a lens with a M42 screw mount (which is old school lens) than you must pay 1/4 from your camera price...
Smart for Pentax - manufacturer.
Maybe i should focus on third party manufacture!

Adam,
Thank you for the tip.
Can I put the question in another way?
Which would be the M42 adapters which should i not buy it?
Is a way to recognize them?
On the market are thousand of chinese, fake screw mounts and also cheap....like 10 euro.
I understood that the spring locking clip can break after a period of interchanging the lens -es.
Is something that eventually doesn’t have that spring locking clip?

Dane,
I’ve tried the pixel mapping.
At this point i can see a difference.
I must make some macro photo's to see it.
Thank you anyway for your replay.
I appreciate.

Hello,
Does anyone know which brand of screw mount M42 is very good to use in combination with a Takumar 200mm f: 4 lens?
I have a Pentax K-r camera.
I read some documentation and some reviews on internet.
I understood that are some bad quality adapters M42 and is possible to get your camera or the lens damaged
Thank you.

Hello to everybody,
i would like to ask here,if somebody knows about a Pentax K-r camera the next issue.
I've noticed that when i take a picture on 10M recorded pixels some achromatic pixels ( two) appears on my foto's.
Does anyone know this kind of issue?
The camera is 2 month old.
One pixel is green and one is red.
I know that the red one is a "hot"pixel..How the achromatic pixel appear it's not totally clear for me.
If i would know ,than probably i would take care in the future.-see the picture bellow
I didn't try yet the pixel mapping.
Thank you in advanced!

Hello,
does anyone know if it's possible to use a teleconverter on a K-r Pentax with a 18-55mm lens?
And if yes, which one do you think is the best choice?
Thank you.

Hello to everybody in this forum.
I'm new here.
I bought 1 week ago a Pentax K-r camera.
Some good years ago (10 I think) I was extremely passionate for photography.
I have been using a Zenith camera. For the University I've been stopped with photography.
Well the years passed, and few years ago my family get bigger.
A beautiful daughter has been born.
First i bought a P&S camera - Nikon Coolpix S220.
I wasn't satisfied with the photo's quality, even with her 20 megapixels & ISO 2000:o
So I was looking for a budget camera, but also not a totally beginner camera.
So after 1 week of searching on internet the Pentax come to my attention.
At this moment I'm pleased (more than that, actually) with this one.
I bought it with a Pentax smc DAL 18-55mm lens.
It's a all-round lens not bad at all.
I still must work myself on aperture, shutter speed, contrast, etc.
This camera has an "Auto Pict" mode so I don't have to do anything to set in one or another way the camera.
She is doing everything for me.
Thank you people for your patience to read my introduction (or not)...:D
Well, again hello to everybody and god bless all.
Regards,
Gabriel
