Probably the DFA. I don't think I can stretch to the HD, although the DFA holds its value. The best UK price I have seen was £300

Anyone have a golden calibration method that takes no time at all? :D
I just checked my K3, it had lost the info, my KP however, AF fine tune was set to off but when I switched it to three the settings were there. I guess I still need to check all my lenses though just in case the algorithm has changed! My wife will be delighted :)

I think I have seen one person put bokeh over starbursts, everyone else talks about the 15 like they have overdosed on something psycotropic :) I for one have lost count of the times I have said "Wow, the colours man!" :D

you will find I preface most of my comments in this regard with "by all accounts".
I also frequently admit to being wrong.
I am no expert, I have also said that a lot, I am just participating in a friendly chat with my mates so please can we keep it that way. If my phrasing has suggested I consider myself knowledgeable in this subject, then I apologise for the confusion. Please can we leave it at that.

I know when I was thinking of getting the 50mm f1.8 you very nearly swung me to the da*, that's why its sharing top spot with the 35mm f2, now THAT'S a lens I really want.

Really? I got the smc and the sharpness blew me away. Have you calibrated it? That can make a big difference. By all accounts smc vs HD isn't a big issue like it is with the 15mm where you lose the epic starbursts. Persevere, and unless you need the money to fund something else, keep it and sic it in twelve months.

You are very much in the "oh, I am glad he/she won" category, and giving it to your son is high up the good home list. What sets off the wailing and gnashing of teeth is when there is a prize I would dearly love but will probably never be able to afford (e.g. a K1) and a non pentaxian hypothetically sweeps in, wins it and sweeps back out, never to be seen outside ebayland until the next competition. @Adams prizes should go to someone who will love them, (me) cherish them, (also me) and use them (you know what's coming). Joking apart, I know open comps are the way to go because it brings in the new members. I just hope whoever wins benefits, and not just fiscally :)

I have a big tin of old filters, given to me by a camera shop. The cokin coloured glass plates are mostly unusable which is a shame but the grads, star filters and magnifiers are OK. I have some crazy ones, a rainbow, (195) one that fractures the image into four, (201) several with the clear centre surrounded by frosted glass, a couple that are just like a mesh but the one that confuses me is half a magnifier and nothing at all on the other half (113). What would that be used for?

Yeah, the 21Limited isn't a portrait lens, unless your subject doesn't mind looking fat 😂🤣😂🤣 it is however fabulous for street, landscapes, interiors etc. The 21st is coming round again. Thinking cap on

Completely 😁 I am genuinely happy when someone I like wins. I have this thing about comps. I worked in a post office where serial competition winners posted out the prizes they had sold on ebay. They had no interest in the prize, just its value! GRRRRRRRRR! If I had my way I would only have the competition open to PF regulars or at least members who had joined at least a week prior to the comp being announced. Prizes, especially the fabulous ones that @Adam gives out should go to someone who will really appreciate them, like me :) Hey, @Womble will finally be getting his K3iii soon 😁
