Camera seems to be in good shape, justmake sure there are no old batteries in the drive or in the camera as those may corrode the units
You have a few lenses that have no ID and may have some value

NICE Super program with the Winder ME and a few lenses!!
that was a good setup
Now if you take the cap off the lense and tahe a pic of the front it maybe easier to identify them

great camera though

The KX is very similar to the Spottie in ergonomics and weight

Yes, the "channels" dont need adhesive, just push it with the bamboo tool
Adhesive is only for a very few places

Jon Goodman kits used to be good for 3-4 cameras until some a-hole decided to buy his kits, and reselle them for a big premium on eBay
Jon made them smaller then (2012 or so)

Neat idea!
I have a few dozen lenses of that vintage and each has its own character
the 35/2 is one I have never tested, honestly never even seen it in the flesh and is supposed to be great

Good luck

Well, there's always a downside ;)
if your lens in in Manual (lever over M) you can focus easily (more light) but you'll need to move to Auto to take the picture
if your lens is in Auto (lever over A) you can use aperture priority setting but the image might be too dim for manual focusing

PS. It seems I had it backwards... M is when the M/Manual is visible and A/Auto when that is visible
So this should be:
if your lens in in Auto (Auto/A showing) you can focus easily (more light) but you'll need to move the pin to be pushed to take the picture or move the lever to M
if your lens is in Manual (Manual/M showing) you can use aperture priority setting but the image might be too dim for manual focusing

I have one such lightmeter from the 60s, my dad used it on top of his beloved Zeiss
The cell is dead but the idea is pretty good for manual cameras with dead meters

Vignetting is a result of lens design; light falls off at the corners
even some wide angle lenses used to vignette a little in 35mm or if you try to use APS-C lenses in 35mm

When you tried to use 35mm lenses in MF cameras (6x6 or higher) the vignetting was pronounced and sometime you had the circle as seen in the promotional pictures

Could it be the shutter? maybe , but I wouldn;t bet on it

Not bad! I'll wait until they get out of the kickstarter though, I have pledged to a few projects that were fully funded and never received their products

question about leather case for a ME Super

Just like any other (N)ever ready cases form the period, you have to take the camera out of the case for loading film and no you can't use the winder

These cases were very useful for traveling and for the amateur photographer that would use 36exp film in several days, not in minutes.

I think I still have the never ready case for the MEs somehwere, I havent used it in years

Your contaflex seems to be missing the lens, and the AGFA might be a Isola or a SIlette, both good cameras

Praktika and Edixa are very interesting as well,

Japanese dealers are decent, check the ratings and the number of transactions they have made
I see Hiroshima Camera has a decent one in Ebay and there s one from Minesotta (PENTAX LX 35mm FA-1 SLR w/ SMC 50mm f2.8 Exc. Working W: Motor Drive + Batt. | eBay) which seems OK

The Nikon FE is still one of my all time favorites
I bought one to replace my Spotmatic in the late 80s and was stolen in a trip to the amazon in 95.
Which sent me back to the Spottie ;)
Years later I got one for free that had been barely used and love it... came with the amazing Nikkor 28/2.8 and the Micro 55 which are hard to beat and I got a motor drive for it which I have barely used

To me it compares to the MESuper and KX (I dont own an MX) but the Nikon has intechangeable screens and a match needle meter
It is now in storage but I take it out from time to time just to exercize it

M42 and PentaxK have excatly the same distance (45.46mm), adapters should be flush in order to focus to infinity

BEST camera for M42, a Bessaflex!
I regret not buying one when I had the chance

Seems you are already decided that you want an LX
NOwadays they are going for 300-400 in EX shape, that is less than the price in the 90s (when I couldnt afford one)
I second the KEH recommendation but they dont have any as of today
