Re: Video- I didn't see any mentioned of manual exposure control. Or about the external audio input- manual or AGC? I'm glad Pentax is improving their video capability... but the exposure thing is pretty big. Would love to know about that.

This is an M42 Screwmount to Pentax K Mount adapter.
It is not the Pentax Brand adapter. But it does work well, and allows focus to infinity. It seems very much like the Pentax brand in design.
It is a Rokunar P-K Body Mount (For Pentax K to Pentax Screw). it was made by a company called Aetna Optix, which had several names it sold camera gear under. Aetna - Camerapedia Based on the packaging I'd estimate this was an early 1980s product.
It has the clip like the Pentax brand adapter that holds it in place. I normally used my fingernail to press that and get the adapter off the body. Once I had to get a small flat head screwdriver to get it off. My fingernails were too short. You can see a few scratches where this has been done by previous owners as well. You can see the clip in the pictures. To be safe, I'd suggest packing a small screwdriver just in case.
The adapter does what it's supposed to, it allows you to mount M42 lenses to K Mount bodies. It's in generally good shape.
The price includes Paypal fees and shipping via 1st Class Mail to the USA.
Plus, I'll throw in a set of cheap K mount extension tubes. Nothing special, but they work enough to let you figure out if macro photography is for you.
So you get the adapter, box, and cheap off brand extension tubes.

I've used a 7D, which people have said are the worst about overheating, for some intense shoots. We had two going, in a warm sunroom for a several of hours. One finally overheated. The other never did. Let it cool for about 5 minutes and picked up where we left off. I should say that the one that overheated had not been well taken care of. Apparently even took a spill into water at one time? So I was later told. Had some other general issues. Maybe it was one of a bad batch? That one was borrowed. The ones we own (at work) haven't ever overheated.

Vivitar 35-70mm f2.8-3.8 macro focusing zoom. Serial number is: 28513317 which indicates it was made by Komine. It has the "A" setting. I can provide pictures taken with it on request.
Condition is excellent. It seems almost new. Few nicks on the body as expected with lens of this age. Glass looks great. Works great.
Comes with front a rear caps. (Front cap is actually a "Makinon" brand, but it fits.)

Pentax A 50mm f1.7 with front and rear caps and an old Hoya Skylight filter.
This one is a favorite. Solid build. Great condition for it's age. Glass looks great. (The filter has seen better days) Focus is smooth and the auto apertures is flawless. Body shows minimal wear, few nicks here and there.
