Hi again,
Well I have read how to upload an image so will try again.
My story getting back into film actually started about 5 years ago when I brought out my Pentax ME and 40mm lens, bought film and started taking "snaps". It was such a wonderful and weirdly satisfying feeling getting back into it again but then my curiosity turned to the lenses from that era.
before I knew it, I was buying those beautiful S-M-C Takuma lenses on eBay and attaching them onto my digital with an adaptor.
This sort of felt like using a film camera until I realised - actually, not so.
So 2 years back I bought the Canon A-1 and Pentax K1000 some Ilford HP5 400 Film, joined a film club in Crawley and film photography took off for me. I love the K1000, it's so reliable and confess that I have now become a small collector of various other film cameras including the ME Super and Spotmatic. I do all my own scanning, post processing in LR and PS and then printing, matt mounting and framing for exhibitions.

Hi there, this us great fun as I'm chuffed to have the chance to show off my latest passion being Back to Basics...Back to Film, and loving it.
11 hours later:-
Earlier I tried posting my images unsuccessfully with messages telling me to check the file size. Maybe they were too small, so here we try again.
Actually - sorry, I give up as I am now totally confused. When I want to post a picture I am asked to type in the ULR????

Hi,
I have the ME which I've had for years, my first SLR and recently bought an ME Super in fairly good condition and used a roll of B&W film through it only once.
The result wasn't too bad so now I'm really curious to know why you say the ME is more reliable than the Super. Just interested, that's all.

A great collection here, truly, some of them are outstanding making it very difficult to choose just one.
#1 I love the exchange between them
#7 Very cleverly caught
#11 Is this India 0 truly draws me in and so like an old Master's painting
#14 Maybe not sharp but it makes it ethereal and quite captivating.
#1 though is my overall choice
