Someway sad... with so much of the piping gone, it is hard to determine if this is in the process of being restored, or scrapped. Hopefully restored!

Just do a search for Books on "Developing photographic film" on shamizon and you will find a number of resources, including the film developing cookbook. Also look at info that is packed with a developer, always a good place to start.

A very brave man... looks like besides a gimbal mount, he has a spring loaded riser to assist in bringing the rig up and down for shooting, to get the perfect height. That's not the brave part...It looks like he mounted this on a kayak! Please... tell us more!

MUCH NICER! Can you put up a drawing of the lighting arrangement for others to see? GREAT color!
PS- If you use a darker BG the splash will probably show up better.

OK, something is not making sense for me, and I have tried different settings on the K-1. When using the pixel shift function, I can turn on or off motion correction or turn PSR off completely. No other choices that I can see. The file that is generated with PS on is one DNG or JPG, not four. What am I missing here???

Something for all of us to keep in mind, is the optical physics breakthrough that occurred last year. I am sure all the lens manufacturers are looking at the data and figuring out how they can take advantage of this development. New lens designs may lag a bit at first, but may also provide lower cost lenses in the future... here is a link for a quick read....

How well would a 10 by 15 storage locker work as studio space?

I would not keep any equipment there, and you need to make certain you have access to adequate power, but for smaller subjects (table top, etc.) it could work fine Outdoor or indoor access? A 15 x 30 might be better...
