Background processed in a blender. :)

It is very different and not ugly at all! With this lens, you can get some really interesting shots that pop out.

Very nice. And a good idea to capture scenes with sodium street lights as these may disappear within a couple of years.

Thank you very much!

With bokeh it is like with coffee or wine. The finest and most expensive may not be the tastiest for all occasions.
While Zeiss or Leica primes are really great in this regard, the style of a cheap DA(-L) 18-55 sometimes can be more "spicy" or "juicy" and even better than this DA 16-45/4. But maybe it's just a personal preference.

Some really good pictures can be found in recent posts!

Here's my favourite picture taken 2018/04 with SMC Pentax 24mm F2.8 on K-m body. (The exif info shows a different date as the camera couldn't hold the setting.)

There's no great art in this picture, but I liked the silence of that place and the soft sunlight slightly diffused by white clouds. And yes, the old CCD sensor has recorded colours quite truthfully.

Thanks for sharing all those new 6 MPix pictures! Especially the Finnish winter and the dog fur are really nice!

Being probably the worst Covid-19 infested country on Earth at the moment, we're under a "lockdown". However walking in woods is still allowed provided it's only two persons. So why not take my K100D for a walk?

Focal length yes but not those architectural properties. Maybe for a couple test shots - otherwise too many things to set up in my hasty photographic style. :o

Now this is the lens on my with list. :)

Those edges and bricks could be an interesting task for an SMC Pentax 28mm F3.5 Shift. :)
A local reseller has a used (fully functional) piece for $580. I was tempted to try it but it would probably be just another expensive toy.

Nice cacti, colourful path, the gate and also the reflection!

Here's two shots from today's walk - no luck with the sun but maybe the overcast sky is fine for such autumn scenes.

Thanks. It indeed was. I wanted to try it and it wasn't as easy as I had thought.
Here's another attempt from the same day a couple of months back (didn't have time to process it until now). Here we have a different problem with overexposed sky resulting in white images hence no control points on them.

Shooting live models as seen on that Wikipedia page must be even higher level. :)
