Oh, that Enrico Paalzzo! Of course, he's one of my faves.

I don't know Enrico Polotzo, but this one (called "Standing Here" btw, not "She Bangs The Drums" [A/B sides]) is a bit more dreamy at the second half:

"Man's Search For Meaning" by Viktor E. Frankl, 1959 (2006), 165 pages.

I'd heard of this influential book for a number of years, finally got myself a copy.

The truck was completely helpless at this point.

We brought a loader, chained the bumper, then pulled it down.

The tailgate latches failed to release when the bed was raised and weight-shift caused the overbalance. A known risk with these trucks (lowest-bidder problem).

My wife came home to this:

The cats emptied her sock drawer, then closed it when they were finished.

Just completed:

"Killers of the Flower Moon" The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI
by David Grann, 2017, 316 pages.

Brought to my attention by an American Indian acquaintance who herself had not been aware the events, the story about the Reign of Terror - the systematic murdering of tribal members to obtain their oil headrights one hundred years ago is a story I had no idea took place. A fascinating read of an appalling period in Oklahoma history.

Recommended.

Bowie, in particular, was not my cup o' tea!

Of course, that was four years later, and by then I had long hair, too, so it was OK.

I was in junior high when their first album was released. I looked at the faces on the back cover and thought they looked too girlish. Could not argue with the sound, however.

Another great soundtrack:

Delivered day after New Year's, this 4.7-inch refractor is the largest I will be using for another hobby - visual astronomy. Previously, I owned five and six-inch refractors but they proved too cumbersome and lack of use resulted in their sale. At 14lbs. suited up, this one will work easily with my current mounts.

Been a few years since I last had them in the rotation, thanks Clackers, I'll have to spin 'em again.
(They could have done much more, too bad)

As I recall, U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled states can require internet retailers to charge sales taxes even if they have no in-state location where you reside, so it may well be that we will all be paying it soon enough.

I remember fondly the Norton Commando ads from the early 70s with the beautiful blonde seated on it. Wow!

I think the SR 500 would be the one I'd have, given the choice now. I do remember being drawn to them.

I stopped racing completely back in 2011, but this bike will replace the 2017 track bike I sold recently. I still try to get on the track weekly although that goal is often impossible to attain.

I have a YZ for desert riding, as well (2015), and was out there under wonderful conditions today, with the Mrs, pictured here. Nice when your spouse enjoys your hobby, too!

I can really only touch one booted foot at a time while stopped. Off-road bikes are tall (for me, anyway).
